Our Hijacked Primary
This post from another blog says almost everything - except how the media, as usual, is deciding our candidate, and as always, will decide the general election.

I don’t want to sound like too much of a conspiracy theorist or anything, but here goes.
Could it be possible that the DNC, from the beginning, was hellbent on forcing Clinton out and making Obama the nominee? Look at the way Dean handled the various states with early primaries:
New Hampshire– no penalty
Iowa– no penalty, Obama spends a lot of time/money here
South Carolina– no penalty, majority of primary voters are AA
Michigan–Clinton very popular, Obama a virtual unknown. Instead of stripping the supers and having the pledged delegates count for half, Dean and co. do something utterly unprecedented: none of the delgates count
Florida– Clinton extremely popular here, Obama a virtual unknown. Same unusual treatment suffered by Michigan.
Florida and Michigan had 313 pledged delegates up for grabs and would have given an early victory and lead in the delegates.
Iowa, NH, and SC? Whopping total of 141 pledged delegates.
Further, we all know that Obama wanted to delegitimize the results of Michigan by taking his name off the ballot and that he convinced Edwards to do the same. The rules did not require this in any shape of form. (did Axelrod plan this, so that Obama could later claim the uncommitted vote?). They all agreed not to campaign, but as we know, Obama violated that because of campaign commercials in Florida.
Iowa went according to plan, but NH did not. In order to win, Obama had to fraudulently claim that the Clintons were racists before the SC primary. The only way he is leading in the delegate count today was because of the points SC memo, convincing AA voters that the Clintons were racists. The DNC aided and abetted Obama and Axelrod (Clyburn, Donna Brazile “upset” with Bill Clinton, etc) since this was the ONLY way to prevent Clinton from getting the nomination.
I’m sorry for this rather inartful post, but reading this article got me thinking. And the thought just wouldn’t go away, and I think there’s a reason for this. Whatever the hell is true, I am THIS MUCH MORE dedicated to getting Michigan and Florida to count the way they voted (Obama gets NOTHING from the Michigan primary!!!!).
If clinton does not win, I hope someone will look into what I have said.

This really captures the heart of the "reasoning" here. Anyone that points out the obvious flaws in his argument will be labeled as not just a troll, but a paid troll by this guy. He is obviously not trying to engage in any kind of meaningful discussion but appears satisfied to spread smears and innuendo. I wouldn't waste my time crafting well-reasoned rebuttals as he'll dismiss them with ad hominem complaints that you are in on the conspiracy and/or a member of my legion of sock-puppets.

Leading the troll vote!
Leading the sock-puppet vote!
Leading the you all!
Much Love,

I guess the DNC used their all seeing eye and set up the IA, NH, SC and NV as the first caucus states just for this election to help Obama?
It is not as if they have had these same states go first for years, right?
In fact, Terry McAuliffe, Clinton Campaign manager, had a very different view when he was head of the DNC:
http://www.politicalbase.com/profile/Mark%20Nickolas/blog/&blogId=1950
That is beyond conception.
If the DNC really wanted to sway it for Obama, they would have made Illinois one of the first primaray states since it is the most "average" according to census.

Your disconnect from reality is showing.

Ok Specialist, I read your article and posted a reply above. Now in the true meaning of civil debate, I would like to direct your attention to the day before the NH primary. Please view the reports from that day. What was Hillary doing? You tell me.

The funny thing is, does michelle and specialist think this conspiracy theory makes Clinton look good? I mean, after all, this "conspiracy" was supposedly done right in front of her, but she never spoke up about it! So, that makes me think that michelle and specialist must think Clinton is pretty dumb since this has been out there since 2007!

Pre-Internet, these elaborate conspiracy theories used to crack me up. Now there are just too damn many of them. Every idiot with a computer takes 1/3 of the facts, comes up with some moronic nonsense and posts it online. Along with the 3 R's, schools need to start teaching Occam's Razor as one of the basic requirements. It would have saved specialist all that unnecessary cutting and pasting.

Well, I'll answer this one if someone promises to respond to other drive-by bloggers.
Iowa, N.H., South Carolina and Nevada were the first four states on the DNC calendar to hold primaries. (They weren't penalized because they were designated the first four states to hold their primaries. These states adjusted the dates of their primaries but not in violation of the calendar or the four state pledge.
MI and FL were hellbent on moving their primaries up.
To enforce the DNC calendar, the candidates signed the four-state pledge, ensuring that they would not campaign or participate in any primary in a state that moved the date of its primary ahead of any of the four states.
MI and FL did not abide by the calendar, the DNC ruled that they would be stripped of all their delegates, and all the candidates
acknowledged these consequences and understood the results in these primaries would not count and didn't protest.
The leading democratic candidates removed their names from the Michigan ballot.
After the MI and FL primaries, Sen. Clinton changed her mind and petitioned the DNC to include the results as is.
Everything else you mentioned is nonsense.

Dude, obviously in 1920 they New Hampshire made it's primary the first in the nation knowing that Obama would be born one day and run for president against Hillary Clinton, even though she wasn't even born yet either. Shit, John McCain wasn't even born!
Iowa was the next state to get involved in the conspiracy 40 years ago, after seeing how cute Obama was as a child:
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0508/Remainders_Sunshine.html
Not wanting to be left out SC and NV got in on the act just this year ensuring that Hillary Clinton would not be president of the United States.

And at the time of the decision, this statement applied to every state and territory:
Clinton extremely popular here, Obama a virtual unknown.

I don't agree with the post, but by Jan/Feb2007, Obama was already polling up around McCain & Hillary, even before he announced. Not that unknown.

Actually, MI doesn't favor Hillary, there's every reason to believe Obama could have won it, or even Edwards. And if THAT had happened, the whole spectrum of the race would change--so if anyone should be pissed, it's Edwards.
Also, since most of the superdelegates who came out early supported Hillary, it defies reason to suggest the party establishment was against her.
The things you say about the calendar are just wrong--the whole point is Iowa and NH and SC are supposed to be first, and MI and FL were trying to muscle in. Or, as the Clinton campaign said back when they signed the pledge not to participate:
Here is every candidate's response back in August of last year. You'll notice no one was muscling anyone else.
