On the eve of the big primaries in NC and IND, Barack has managed to capture THREE Supers!

http://thepage.time.com/2008/05/05/mondays-super-battle/

The fact that many supers are unwiling to wait to see what happens in Ind and NC is very telling. I would be very concerned about this if I was involved with the Clinton campaign.

My thinking is this: If Barack can manage to win NC by a decent margin and can either win Ind or lose with some respectable margin, the supers are going to start moving in even larger numbers than we have seen over the last week.

If Barack can manage to pull off both, the supers will move but I am not sure if I expect Clinton to concede.

I do not think Hillary has a realistic chance at winnong both NC and Ind.

I've noticed, too, that many of Obama's supers over the last few days have been DNC folks, rather than elected reps. If reports are correct that most elected reps will go for Obama, then this support among party people is doubly significant.

Don't forget. Those supers are free to change their mind later.
