Jodi Rell. Why?
1. She's a woman.2. She's a great governor - took over for the crook Rowland.3. She is a centrist Republican.4. In one fell swoop, he would major constituencies that have eluded him for Hillary.5. She would validate the "bringing together of America" statement.

nominating a Republican on the Democratic ticket ain't gonna happen. Period.

I swear I cannot believe how frelling irresponsible and feckless some folks are. There is no reason for any sane Democrat to recommend a Republican for Vice President.
Damn it, this is not just a ribbon-cutting position. This person could, if the worst happens, become President of the United STates. Are you that freaking irresponsible? What is wrong with you?

There were two Dem strategist on Chris Matthews yesterday, both of whom enthusiastically endorsed Hagel for V.P. What trendy nonsense.

Yeah, and Mickey Kaus claims to be a Democrat, too. There's no admissions standards to the party so we get some folks who clearly are Republicans at heart like Mickey Kaus and that guy (dang, I can't remember his name) the super creepy, looks-like-a-sexual-predator guy who was a Carter campaign staffer. They never say that he's currently registered as a Democrat. He gives me the creeps so I turn the channel when he's on - probably why I don't remember his name.

Chris Mathews? He was a speechwriter for Carter.
Picking ANY woman other than Hillary would RIGHTLY be seen as a complete insult to Hillary's many female supporters - not to mention Hillary herself. How could you be magnanimous about such a willfull 'eff you' gesture?
It's time to face it guys. Obama must pick Hillary.

Pat Caddell, it's Pat Caddell I was thinking of. He's trotted out as a Democrat from time to time. If he's a Democrat, I am a Zoroastrian. And he's creepy looking - seriously creepy. I figure they pull him out to make people's stomachs turn. Kind of a SEE! Democrats are not only agreeing with the GOP on this issue but they look like mass murderers, have greasy oily hair, a generally dirty, with poor hygiene and if you become a Democrat, you too will look like this lump of doughy puss.
He honestly makes my skin crawl - and his being presented as the democratic opinion led me to quit watching cable news long, long ago.
