2. Racists and sexists who post topics or comments like the one you left in "Olbermann Hands Hillary Her Hat":

Essays -- or diatribes, if you prefer -- are more effective when basic rules of English usage are observed:
1) Sentences, in English, begin with capital letters, and only the first letter of the first word is capitalized;
2) "coronate" is not a word; in this context, "crown" is the correct choice -- or would be, if we had a monarchy;
3) "Not only" requires the use of its correspondent, "but also";
4) Kool Aid is a trademarked product name which, therefore, must be spelled and capitalized accordingly.
Because you are new to the class, I am returning your essay without penalty. Next time, however, I will expect you to proofread your work before you submit it.

Judy, Judy, Judy. I am a 48-year-old white male with a college degree. I get greasy on factory floors working on machinery; I stay cool in an air-conditioned office writing custom software. I read extensively, I visit numerous sites, I pay attention. I don't fall under one label. I am put off every time someone insists I've drunk the KoolAid (TM, as the blue frog kindly pointed out) for supporting Obama.

You're a bit silly if you don't recognize Obama as a forceful, driven, and intelligent candidate. If he's an empty-headed dope, what does that make your candidate, who is losing (has lost) to him? A Harvard law degree recipient is a driven, intelligent person. A little-known freshman Senator who can capture a major party's nomination is a driven, intelligent person.

What swayed my vote IS his words. I've lost sight of my America these last 7 years with our secret prisons in eastern Europe, the loss of habeus corpus, domestic spying on American citizens, the obscene handling of Jose Padilla, an American citizen denied his rights, the torture orgy. I've listened carefully to Obama and to Hillary. Clinton has a list of 10-point plans, and I think she could be effective in implementing them--while in the Senate. Obama has a vision, and I share that vision. An America that is unafraid, an America that again leads the world through diplomacy and moral righteousness. An America with a leader that responds to questions and conflict with thoughtful, reasoned answers.

No KoolAid involved here.
