Reminds me of Spinal Tap, "It's better, because it goes up to 11."

You are so stoked, aren't you?

Super stoked!

Thanks. I've been trying to figure out how many all afternoon.

Thanks for tracking this.

It may even be up to 13 at this point.

A reader diary on Daily Kos (SlowNomad) indicates
that following the release of official canvass results in North Carolina, apparently Obama is +1 and Clinton is -1, resulting in a net gain of 2 more for Obama.

Not a bad day at all. Thanks for tracking all this!

Sorry, this was my first attempt at using html tags. The link to the Kos diary, if anyone's interested, is

I was just going to update this but you beat me to it. Thanks!

Waxman. Awesome!

Thanks your updates, Opus.

and one from Iowa, M. Crum, so that makes a + 12

With the updates:

+4 Superdelegates
+8 Pledged Delegates
+1 Obama, -1 Hillary from NC canvass results

+13 on the day, yeah!

Woohoo! It's a good-news day!

On an unrelated note, Opus, remember that thread where you & other TPMers raked Matthew Weaver over the coals for capitalizing "black" and "white", and he got into a snit and said he was leaving? As I recall, I said I thought capitalization was the least of the problems with the things he wrote, but that if you'd succeeded in driving that racist troll away, I'd be grateful? Well, looks like you guys really did drive him away. Thank you!

Well, let's just count our blessings then. I know I'm guilty of talking my fair share of smack, and maybe saying a few things that I shouldn't have (I am an agitator after all), but the racist stuff I just can't stand, and don't think that any of us should tolerate it here or anywhere else. I would prefer to convince someone to drop the racist talk and attitude, rather than run them off, but then again...good riddance to that.

I don't think Weaver was looking to listen and learn from anybody. I quite enjoyed your running him off :)

Seconded

Excellent news!
Bout time Jim, sheesh. He only won WA by 68%, was it really that risky?

EXCELLENT

NEWS!!!!

(Anyone also got the feeling that bsuey21, goodreverend and MaximumBob are one and the same poster with at least 2 illegal extra logins?

I call on all Obama supporters to show grace in winning. Equally, I call on all Clinton supporters to show grace in defeat.
We shouldn't talk about it anymore, we should about how to take on McCains 527 groups.

Whenever I post on McCain, no one wants to talk about it:

Only two coments.

On the other hand, we're all looking forward to Obama reaching the magic number of delegates. Cheering each add that get's us to that number is not disparaging of Hillary, and you'll notice that I don't even mention her in the original post. We can't officially move on until enough delegates come forward to allow us to do so.

That said, we're one more closer today:

Rep. Pete Stark, Superdelegate:

d'Oh! Coffee hasn't kicked in yet. Pete Stark link:

It's a good read!

Another update:

NBC NEWS has adjusted the pledged delegate split out of North Carolina, resulting in two more for Obama and two less for Clinton. Obama gets a net of 19 delegates, a 67-48 split, out of the Tar Heel State.
