Obama actually had votes for 50-50 MI Split
According to Chuck Todd at MSNBC, Senator Obama actually had enough votes in today's Rules and Bylaws Committee Meeting to split the Michigan delegates 50-50.
However, since there were more votes available to the 69-59 split, he agreed to back that proposal instead.

Yep, he could have pushed that, easily, but it's no skin off his back to go with this. He still gets the nomination, and silences the HRC camp. The Obama campaign is so damn smart. We really need them governing.

This makes Ickes' outrage seem even more staged and pre-arranged (which I suspected), since they did apparently get a significant concession.

Clinton got more than she deserved. Obama was a gracious "loser." The Clintonistas should take a lesson.
