NYT is Race Baiting
The "New York Slimes," is doing a smear job onWest Virginia.
Once the most respected progressive paper in the world, the NYT is now hawking Kool Aid culled from the Orange Cult urinal.
WV does not think Obama is ready for a presidential run.They think Trust has not been Built. They want substance, not Ted Kennedy spin.
What does the NYT do? Smear West Virginia.
They run a front page article saying that an entire stateof West Virginia is RACIST.
First paragraph announcing Senator Clinton's exciting victory. It was the level of Matthews tirade at McAullife last night.
Obama is a gifted individual. He has been SHUT OFF from mainstream America for 20 years. Living in the white equivalent of James Dicky country.
He doesn't get why people might be disturbed that he raises his children in the church of Pastor Nutcase.
He could possibly make an excellent president ifhe isn't pushed into a candidacy, before he has had time to build up a solid record, and understand the voters he wants to lead. Understand the voters he wants to lead.
Being vice president would provide a safe oasis whereObama could work on high profile projects, and get around the country to meet and greet.
In 8 years, the good people of WV would KNOW him.
Lay off your high horse, NYT. (And keeping Patrick Healy around doesn't do much for your journalistic creds.)
The recent racetrack tragedy has taught us that ifyou run a horse in the KY derby before it's ready, you kill it.

This might have been an excellent post back in 1954. Youknow, back when "the Negroes" knew their places and wouldn't have dared to even consider getting the keys to the outhouse let alone to the White House.
You, like West Virginia, are anachronistic. This has to be very uncomfortable for you, seeing a black man poised to become the most powerful man in America and by extension the world. No wonder you offer up "new" standards for "electability" and "readiness to lead." Standards you haven't applied to anyone else.
You post saddens me. And I pity you, locked in your time machine. (And as for the Derby analogy, it was Hillary's horse that was put out of its misery. Perhaps we should do the same for her campaign.)

No need for any of us to "go for it", as you say. Bill is already been using that pistol, shooting her campaign horse in the ass for some months. It has lost too much blood. The coup de grace is finally near. See there, Bill is a public servant after all. Thanks, Bill!
