NH Edwards Delegate Announces Support for Obama
Here's the first Edwards delegate to switch to Obama:
PORTSMOUTH, N.H.—A New Hampshire Democratic Party delegate who had supported John Edwards says he will support Barack Obama, now that Edwards has endorsed his former political rival for the party's presidential nominee.
Joshua Denton of Portsmouth, 26, an Iraq war veteran, says he thinks that both Obama and Hillary Clinton would be a better president than Republican nominee John McCain. He thinks that Obama is the change the country needs, along with having the best chance of beating McCain in the general election.
"My fear with Hillary was just because she is who she is -- for better or worse -- she would sink, not just lose the presidency," but Democrats in Congress, Denton said Wednesday.

Edwards has 19 pledged delegates, (not counting Florida), so that's one down, 18 to go.

"My fear with Hillary was just because she is who she is -- for better or worse -- she would sink, not just lose the presidency," but Democrats in Congress,"
It's about time someone said it. Finally a Democrat willing to publicly acknowledge Hillary's biggest problem. Which is Hillary herself.
This guy has guts. That, and I'm guessing he hasn't been around long enough to be afraid of the Clinton's wrath like everyone else is.

Well, the guy is just a regular, pledged delegate. Odds are that he's not interested in (or has already ruled out) getting elected to a national office, so he has little to fear from the Clintons.

I believe Edwards has 18 pledged delegates and 1 superdelegate. At least that's what Chuck Todd said at some point last night.
