My Personal GOTD Campaign
The McCain campaign is currently seeking comment trolls to post McCain talking points on sites like TPM.

One great feature of the site is the little drop-down list that provides suggestions for blogs to post on. Wow, I've joined about a million conservative blogs this week! It's all part of my non-official 2008 Get Out the Despair campaign. It's easy, it's fun, and you can do it too. Just pick a blog and start posting. Here are a few idea suggestions:
"As a life long Republican, I'm going to have a very tough time voting for John McCain. I can't stand his immigration ideas. He want's to let Mexicans take over the country. Is he crazy? He say's their God's children. They are MEXICANS!!!! And they want to take are JOBS!!! Get real, McCain!!! Your NOT A REAL REPUBLICAN!!!"
"Why wont McCain talk about his church? Every time someone asks him a question, he get's nervous and changes the subject? He needs to start talking about religion more or he will loose!"
"The thing I'm worried about is McCain hangs around with Democrats like Liebermen. It makes me wonder if he's just saying whatever to get elected. Then when he get's in office he changes his tune and throws us under the bus. He need's to say some things to make us trust him more. MAN I wish we had a better choice!!"
"JOHN MCCAIN IS A TRAITER TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!! WHY SHOULD I VOTE FOR HIM???? HE'S A DIMOCRAP IN WOLFS CLOTHS!!!!!"

Highly recommended. And please, if your going to follow hrebendorf's advice, pay attention to the spelling errors. You don't want to give away you're real identity.

Right. The last example is the best and has the key points for pretending to be a conservative blog commenter.
* Use CAPS
* Misspell words where it "makes sense" to misspell them (traiter rather than traitor)
* Use ridiculous nicknames for Democrats/liberals
I also suggest referring to some patron saint of conservatives now and again. For example, "I was listening to Rush a while back and man was he right!" You don't have to say what he was right about or go into any specifics. Whatever you talk about next, I'm sure Rush has covered it at some point. Also mention Savage, Hannity, Beck, even Morning Joe.
This could be fun.

It's funny -- I couldn't get on redstate.com. Only the banner ad showed up, but nothing of the site content, the page was blank. The site must have read all the cookies I have from liberal blogs and blocked me! heheheh

Maybe you have adblock and forgot that you blocked their entire site? (I'm not calling you stupid—it could happen to me.)
