Morning Joke...er, no...Morning Joe
Do any of you bother to watch Morning Joke...er, no, I mean Morning Joe?
He just asked HRC the following question, "Why are you so great?"
My question to MSNBC is, Why is this guy on your air?
The MSM continues to provide a a viewing experience that combines the charms of being struck in a traffic jam with watching a train wreck.
The so-called alternative media isn't doing a whole lot better. Consider the way Arianna Huffington is all over the MSM for its failings when it's her vehicle for public discourse that, by violating the essential code of "off the record", earned this campaign season's award for Most Egregious Breach of Journalistic Ethics.
What do all these media folks have in common? Could it be a lack of shame?

MSNBC is part of the Comcast "basic" cable package in my neck of the Big Woods, and sits right next to the 50% Comcast-owned VS. channel on my "dial."
Advantages: Easy to toggle back and forth between Countdown w/Keith and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Disadvantages: Morning Joe is the only "news" show available before 7am CDT.
If it weren't so early in the day, I'd turn Morning Joe into a drinking game, and down a shot every time he forces me to shout out "Shut the F*%^ Up!"
As for why MSNBC has him on? Because they were forced to fire Imus. Not that big a shift. But look at the bright side....they canned Tucker.

Despite his frequent protests to the contrary, it's hard not to see Morning Blowhard for exactly what he is: an lieutenant in Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos." Lately, he's shown so much Hillary love that it looks like one long audition for Fox News.
Prediction: when the election is over, his ratings will plummet, MSNBC will make a change, and he'll pop up on Fox as the lead-in to O'Really.

Ms. Kaye, it is interesting that you posted this article this morning. I am beginning to think I am a glutten for punishment as I watch morning joe every morning. Just as you shout "shut the F*%^Up" I do as well. He is horrible and Mika or Meka is just as bad. As a female, it hurts to see men knocking women around whether verbally or physically. Joe Scarborough is not only dumb, he is ugly inside and out.

I quit watching a couple weeks ago. Try it, you'll feel so much better. I had to ask why I was making myself crazy watching these nutballs and I couldn't come up with a sensible answer for myself, other than to stop watching.

I did the same thing over a month ago... I now feel so much better -- and more relaxed in the morning -- what a difference.
If you look you may find something more worthwhile to watch in the morning... C-Span, PBS, BBC-America and CNN's American morning...

Same here. We reached our limit a few weeks back. Up to a point, it's important to analyze the dynamic on shows like this, but it's way too clear now what's going on. What we see now across the networks it a test of whether Republicans can bias the process by which Democrats choose their nominee. If we can see it, surely superdelegates can see it as well.

1. To amoment: I'm with you. Mika is pathetic, like a drunk sororiety girl getting bullied by an obnoxious frat boy at the end of a long evening. Joe is all that you say he is, dumb, ugly, and so prejudiced that
2. I agree with Latte Sipper that he's destined to turn up on Fox.

I watch only for the guests. Robert Reich, for example, was wonderful this morning. Scarbourgh is a one-dimensional, reactionary jerk, but I'm surprised at Mika's vacuousness. It's pathetic watching her defend Joe like a fawning schoolgirl whenever the producer reads an email that accuses Joe of Obama-bashing. Sick stuff.

Lionel on Air America has a regular feature about the noises Mika makes. The premise is that making noises is all she does. Pretty funny. However, I will say that she used to stand up more, and she was great when she refused to read any "news" that contained the words "Paris Hilton" in the copy, shredding the papers one day and trying to set them on fire with a lighter. I think she's been reined in and told to be subordinate to Joke, which is another reason I've tuned out MSNBC (except for Keith, of course).

I've been watching for some time now and the funny thing is that he use to sing Barack's praises and scream death to Hillary until it became apparent that Barack was going to win and Hillary was the best GOP weapon against him and suddenly he became her pimp. Now his over the top pandering to all things Clinton has become sickening.

Couldn't sleep last night. Woke up real early. Looking thru the guide I see his show and as Im about to hit enter, I came to my senses. That dude would have had me screaming at the t.v.! They fear Obama on the right. That includes right wing pundit idiots. Don't know how any Liberals/Progressives watch Morning Joker anyhow..

Yes. It says all anyone needs to know about which Dem. they want to run against this fall. Republican pundits claiming the GOP can't wait for Obama are lying (surprise!). The GOP's constant attacking of ONLY Obama is the proof. Democratic super-delegates must also see this.

Absolutely. On panel after panel, a faux balance is achieved by pitting 2 Republican Clinton supporter and 1 Democratic Clinton supporter against a single Obama supporter. As has been pointed out on TPM, Obama is running against Clinton, McCain, Democratic 527's, Republican 527's, the RNC, and a biased media, and still he's doing fine.
