Madame Speaker
Tomorrow, Karen Bass (D) from Los Angeles District 47, will take the Speaker's seat in the California Assembly. After prop 93 failed this past February, Fabian Nunez, the first Latino Speaker in California, termed out. This the seat that Willie Brown held for several years before he became Mayor of San Francisco. Congratulations to the new Speaker of the California Assembly. By the way, she is an Obama supporter.
