Lowering the Boom on June 4
I just received a response from the campaign to an SFObama listserv email inquiring
about the status of contributions to the joint Campaign/DNC committee
that has been established.
"Wait until June 4th. Funds can only be used to support the presumptive nominee. Will send you forms"
Then this news item:
Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter said on Sunday he expects
Democratic superdelegates to reveal their choice for presidential
nominee soon after the final primary in June and that Hillary Clinton
will then have to quit the race.
In an interview with Sky News, Carter said he did not think Clinton was achieving anything by staying in the fight.
"I think not. But of course she has the perfect right to do so," he said while attending a literary festival in Britain.
"I'm a superdelegate ... I think a lot of the superdelegates will
make a decision quite, announced quite rapidly, after the final primary
on June 3," he told Sky News.
"I have not yet announced publicly, but I think at that point it will be time for her to give it up," Carter said.

There was a good suggestion no Huff Post in relation to the Carter comment
"We the people" need to let the DNC and super delegates know that they work for the American people and NOT the Clintons:
Main Capitol Switchboard: 202-224-3121, then ask for the particular Senator's office:
Senators
Ken Salazar (CO)
Joe Biden (DE)
Tom Carper (DE)
Tom Harkin (IA)
Mary Landrieu (LA)
Ben Cardin (MD)
Carl Levin (MI)
Max Baucus (MT)
Jon Tester (MT)
Harry Reid (NV)
Frank Lautenberg (NJ)
Sherrod Brown (OH)
Ron Wyden (OR)
Jack Reed (RI)
Jim Webb (VA)
Herb Kohl

Hillary Clinton WILL NOT QUIT in June. The primaries will be over but I believe she WILL attempt a nomination coup of some sort at the convention. The Hillary show (drama or comedy?) won't end until then.

Hillary will not have a choice come June 3rd. Obama will pass the mark he needs easily, even with FL and MI. IMO the DNC decided to end this once the primaries are over.

Carter, what a sly old dog. That was the ultimate non-announced annoucement. Karma for "it depends on what the meaning of is, is?

Anyone have a list of 'unofficial' super-delegate endorsements? I mean, really, is there any doubt who Carter is going to support after this? It would be interesting to see who else is officially uncommitted, but have hinted pretty clearly who they'll be supporting.
