Little Big Hillary: Clinton's Last Stand

I find it remarkably symbolic that Hillary Clinton is "putting the chips down" in South Dakota.  If she had a goatee and a buckskin pant suit, she could just go stand at Little Big Horn in Montana for full karmic effect.  Slate.com's Hillary Deathwatch has her at 0.4 percent chance of getting the nomination.   I think General Custer had a higher chance.
Meanwhile, TMPer Armchair Guerilla lays out terms of surrender for the former-first-lady-turned-senator which is brilliant which should be expected with such a stellar avatar.
The anniversary of George Armstrong Custer's last stand is in June.

I just want to let everybody know, for historical reference, that May 31 was the day a dam break sent a 60-foot wall of water over the town of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, killing over 2,200 people.

I just automatically think of May 31 as Johnstown Flood Day, in case that ever pops up in conversation and it seems inexplicable or inappropriate to you.

That's just how I remember it's May 31.

So don't freak out or make a big deal out of it if I bring it up.

I love that after Hillary and Bill spent the last week telling South Dakota voters that Obama didn't want them to vote Obama is now spending the last days of the campaign visiting smaller S.D. cities. I just hope his staff knows enough not to bother taking in the Corn Palace as part of his stop in Mitchell. What a let down that place was. On the other hands, a presser in the Badlands would give a great background.

I couldn't resist...I loved Dustin Hoffman in Little Big Man. Custer's psychology is a lot like Hillary's, don't you think?

I like it: thanks!

I just want to say that I love Hillary's Mnemonic Calendar. Lots. And lots.

I agree... I would buy one if they were on sale somewhere.

She does more and more act like a short man having an attack of littleman's syndrome.
