Krugman dislikes the gas tax holiday but actually AGREES that economists are being elitists!

I found this article surprisingly refreshing!!!

So basically he says that Hillary's proposal is stupid but he doesn't like economists either. Wow that's some defense of Mrs. Clinton.

The part that I found funny was where he dismissed all of the talk about this issue as overblown hoopla because it was just a temporary fix anyway and a rather small proposal. Of course this ignores the implication that the only reason she offered it in the first place was to pander to the people of Indiana and North Carolina!

HRC MUST BE STOPPED! IT IS NOT TOO LATE!

If the concept of economic relief catches on how on earth will we stop it! We must roadblock every suggestion at consumer side politics before it get's out of our control!!!!

(insert guffaw here)

NOT YOUR WHITE GUILTY CONSCIENCE

Phew! Finally, one (ONE!) economist says the tax holiday is good policy.

Oh, wait. He still says it's not.

But that's okay, we don't need no stinkin' experts anyway...I'm going to let Hillary cut my hair, fill my cavities, prepare my taxes, and do my annual physical. Since, you know, I would hate for these 'elitist experts' such as hairdressers, dentists, accountants, and doctors actually do their trained-for jobs. What the hell do they know? Hillary knows best!

I suspect Krugman hated having to make this attempt to reduce the damage done to Hillary for pushing the gas tax holiday. Only because it highlighted how ridiculous he's been attacking Obama's healthcare proposal. Not suprised he couldn't say so directly, but I give him some small credit for alluding to it.

Krugman is getting bullied again.

I'm glad that Mr. Krugman believes the possible, although I'm sure exaggerated, loss of 300,000 summer construction jobs is a minor issue. Especially to those people who would be losing said job.

"I suspect Krugman hated having to make this attempt to reduce the damage done to Hillary for pushing the gas tax holiday."

So why exactly does Krugman "have to" do something he "hates"?? Krugman works for the New York Times, not the Clinton campaign. If he doesn't believe it, he shouldn't write it.

No, Krugman is a total sellout. Why did he destroy all of his credibility like this, just for a lying pandering jerk like Hillary? Since he ain't getting that job with them anymore, why continue the charade?
