Keith Olbermann On Hillary Clinton Assassination Remarks
We can always count on Keith Olbermann to speak truth to power without missing words. If more journalists had done this on many other issues, what a different America we would have had. See Keith's special comments here.

Thank you for your post. So few broadcast journalists have the courage (or their corporate lawyers' permission?) to voice a strong opinion on anything. Keith Olbermann has such courage and I admire him for it. His response to HRC's RFK remarks was carefully researched, factually correct and cogently presented. Although he was addressing Hillary, his message can be applied to all of us: the challenge for us, as well as for Hillary Clinton, is to be ethically responsible for what we say and do.

This was one of the most inane, idiotic things Olbermann has ever done. And that is saying something. He took a poorly stated statement and turned it into the diatribe he likes to use against President Bush. That Olbermann despises Clinton is well-known. And, like Sean Hannity, he has the advantage of the bully pulpit and use his one-hour show to do whatever he wants.
Courage? That is usually reserved for somebody doing a brave act -- facing an enemy combatant in war, battling cancer, etc.
Cogently presented? He was a raving maniac.
In the end, Olbermann did the very thing he rails at Hannity and O'Reilly for -- throwing an ideological temper tantrum.
For that, he doesn't deserve praise. Instead, he needs a pacifier.
