John Edwards as AG?
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/05/16/edwards-flatly-rules-out-running-with-obama/
An interesting, and possibly revealing exchange this morning:
Edwards flatly said Friday, as he had before he endorsed a
candidate, that he's not interested in making a second run for vice
president."No," Edwards said in no uncertain terms on NBC's the Today show
when asked about the possibility. "Won't happen.…It's just not
something I am interested in."As for another position in an Obama administration, specifically Attorney General, Edwards was decidedly more coy.
"I don't really want to get involved in that speculation," he said.
"Right now we have to focus on getting Barack Obama elected to
President of the United States, then we’ll worry about those things."

The VP spot is a political lame duck. You do nothing except parrot Presidential talking points and represent the US at foreign funerals. Biden said while he wouldn't turn it down if offered, he'd rather be SOS.

I don't know what I did wrong, perhaps it was because I was in a rush, but I'll try again

I think he'd be a good fit. And Bill Richardson for State, without a doubt - he'd be very, very effective there. Much more so than as VP - he'd be a good candidate, true, on the strength of his resume, although as the earlier stages of the Dems' race showed, he's not all that effective a campaigner - and there is a critical difference.

I like Edwards for AG, but I also think he would make an excellent Secretary of Labor.

How about Howard on the cabinet and JRE at the head of the DNC?
