Israel holding talks with Hamas- where is the "appeasment" outrage from Bush and McCain?
Israel is engaging in the very act President Bush and John McCain have recently lit into Barack Obama over-
From Haaretz:
Vice Premier Haim Ramon on Monday acknowledged that Israel was holding talks with Hamas
The GOP outrage will no doubt be deafening... in its silence. This needs to get to the Obama campaign and into the American press.

OMG OMG!!! Those Israeli appeasers!!!
Surely the MSM will highlight this story!!!
Sarcasm aside, thanks for posting. I read the English online Haaretz at least 1-2 times a week...far saner coverage of the Middle East than the numbskull blowhards who dominate U.S. discourse (NY Review of Books excepted & the Nation too).

These "friends of Israel" in the GOP seem like they want to push Israel into some sort of nuclear conflict with Iran so they can bomb them.

If that Purse-Lipped Piece of Shit attacks Iran, I think some thought ought to be given to repainting Rudolf Hess' cell in Spandau prison.

So it appears that (by the GOP standard) Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is not enough of a "supporter of Israel" to be able to run for President of the US.

That pretty much sums it up, I'd say.

Sadly there are some right wing Jews, but I think many more Protestants here in America who are much more hard line on re-making "greater Israel" than anyone who lives in Israel really is.
I know some fellow Jews who welcome the hard line support for Israel by the religious right here in the States. It just creeps me out though.

Its been noted that many policies of Isreal would not fly over here with many conservatives, as well as, many conservative policy ideas here would not be welcome in Israel.
The whole non-reality based notion of modern conservatives and republicans is true.
Mostly buzz words, duck speak, and propaganda.
