HRC Knows Edwards Will Not Endorse Her
My guess is that Hillary does not expect to get John Edwards' endorsement. Somehow this doesn't reconcile with the "son of a millworker" theme:
Clinton on O'Reilly:
"And you know what, rich people -- God bless us -- we deserve all the opportunities to make sure our country and our blessings continue for the next generation."

That and Edwards and Family will be on a mini-vacation in Disneyworld this weekend - If he was to endorse you'd think he'd stick around to answer questions and campaign a little.
Besides, he's likely eying a 2012 run and doesn't want to piss off either base at this time.

Well, John Edwards would have to explain why he called her "the status quo" candidate who can't deliver change for the American people.

Good! He shouldn't endorse anyone. He should do just what he is doing and spend time with Elizabeth and his family and enjoy their time together.

I thought he's been out windsurfing and working on his tan.

Why not all of the above.
You know, there is nothing wrong with being dazzlingly good-looking.
It has always been a trait I believe most people value!

I've always gone in for scary and slightly intimidating, but that's a personal lifestyle choice.

I must commend sarcastic responses to assholes. It's the only way to deal with them. And I must say, she did knock him on his ass. Kudos to Clinton.
PS What does this have to do with Edwards (who, I note, is also a rich person)?

The difference is that Edwards is a poor boy made good who was clever enough and talented and , yes , good-looking enough to beat the rich kids at their own game. Imagine how that must have rankled! He BECAME rich, he was not to the Manor born!
As for taking down Bill O, well she is more fearless than most politicos.

It was a good response.
She's smart and quick.
Obama- whom I support- would have given a straight answer - '1% of the population has 20% of the wealth and the only way to provide services we need is to tax them etc" (made up numbers but close enough.
That would have been good in its own way. Her's was good in her's.
