For the first time in American history, an African-American is the presumptive nominee of a major political party for president of these United States.  I am just so overwhelmed and overjoyed that I am alive to report this monumental happening.  Even more so because I participated in the process and I didn't sit idly by and wait until it was my time to vote.  I truly feel and believe that America accepts me and those like me.  It feels good to have a home.

P.S.:    For those of you who might respond and say some idiotic crap that I should have always felt like America was my home, I say screw you.  If you don't get it, or understand, how an American can say or feel like this  then you are not a true American.  And I question YOUR patronage.  Watch Bill Moyers op-ed on the double standard between Rev. Wright/Obama and Rev. Hagee/McCain.  Maybe that will enlighten you.
