Hillary's Endgame a Losing Strategy?

According to the Associate Press, DNC lawyers have advised the Rules and Bylaws
Committee that seating half the delegates from Florida and Michigan "is as far as they can legally go."  If this is true, and if this analysis by Madison Powers at CQ is correct, it's essentially all over for Hillary.

According to Powers: The effort to press for the counting of
Florida and Michigan was a premeditated act, a deliberate strategy
adopted at a time when it was clear that her opposition was relying on
her representations that neither outcome would count. It was, in
effect, a classic case of bait and switch.

If so, we should see Hillary pull out when it becomes apparent that the Florida/Michigan strategy has failed.  But will we?  I've learned not to underestimate the self-interested ruthlessness of the Clintons.  I'll believe it when the Hill lady finally sings.  And if they have another few aces stashed up their sleeves, I won't be at all surprised.

No, it just means she'll take her case to the next Committee that wouldn't mean until mid-July. And then she won't be happy there and will only then decide to take "her case" to the convention.

Ditto.

It may ultimately be a losing strategy, but all the DNC staff lawyer memo means is that is that she can't win with the RBC. If she wants to, in effect, appeal the RBC's decision, she can still go to the Credentials Committee and then the Convention Floor.

Unless Obama has the nomination tied up by then. Which he will.

You don't think that will stop her, do you? It's personal now. She wants to hurt Obama, and hurt him bad.

Which does bear out her beginning to campaign for the VP slot, if we give it just a minute's thought. At this point, where else can she find a spot that lets her keep doing damage all the way through November?
