Hillary...And the Horse.
Ok, I can't take it anymore. Clinton picked Eight Bell to win, place, and show at the Kentucky Derby. The horse came in second, broke it's ankles after the finish line, and had to be put down.
Now, people are drawing comparisons to Hillary and the now euthenized filly. People are making some comments that, some, might find offensive and/or inappropriate. I, for one, don't. I am more outraged in the fact that people are more upset about this dead horse than about the comment that Hillary recently made about obliterating Iran.
Do you understand what I am saying? Hillary said, "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them." WHAT!? Then she follows up with this, "That's a terrible thing to say but those people who
run Iran need to understand that because that perhaps will deter them
from doing something that would be reckless, foolish and tragic." Wow. She's basically talking about murder...and genocide.
Say what you will about the government of Iran, and it's religious fanatics, but talking about killing innocent people...many who love the U.S.A.. Who don't agree with their elected officials. Many who want peace just as much as we do. And you have become no better than those we are trying to defeat. She wants to obliterate them, their way of life, their culture, their hopes and dreams. Kill the many for the dislike of a few?
So you see, I don't give a SHIT about a horse that lived the high life and probably got treated better than me. But I do give a shit about my fellow human being.
So, say what you want about that horse and its outcome. I for one know that whatever you say, it can't be as horrendous and despicable as what Hillary recently said about Iran.
Let's put things into perspective. I recommend that you read my other post about Bill Moyer. It will help.

Well I do give a SHIT about the horse that was euthanized. Perhaps, you should investigate the corruption in horse racing industry and the treatment of these magnificent animals before you make statements like this. NO, they do not live the high life AND horse racing is a brutal sport.
That said, animal abuse is every bit as horrendous and despicable as the murder and genocide af human beings. We share the planet.
Hillary is reckless and dispicable for suggesting the total obliteration Iran as part of the platform of her campaign. Most everything she does these days seems dispicable and disgusting.
It appears her presidency would be every bit as horrendous as McCain's .

And with that, you have proven my point.

The only thing that will help is if you look into euthanasia for yourself.
Well, two things. You need to take a course in reading comprehension, too.
Horse racing is animal abuse. If you're the example of an Obama supporter, I am ENTIRELY secure in my support of Hillary Clinton.

But Hillary asked people to bet on the filly... which means she supports horse racing and therefore animal abuse.
Watch out, your head might explode.

It's all meat. Again, I say perspective.

nclblows said, "The only thing that will help is if you look into euthanasia for yourself." How utterly sad. The fact that you would suggest I kill myself because I don't care about a horse the way I do another human being is, quite frankly, scary.
I could retort like minded, but then it would become perpetual. Seek help.
Oh, by the way, I see that you have a dog as your avatar...looks delicious.

Hillary said she would obliterate Iran in response to an attack on Isreal. There's is difference in saying you're going to oblitterate a country and actually doing it -- were she talking about preemptively going into Iran, or saying that she favors aggressive regime change in Iran, that would be a cause for concern. But all she said was that if sher were president, and Iran moved aggressively on US allies, she would respond in kind.
Talking to your opponents without anything backing you up doesn't work very well. If you don't let someone -- anyone -- know that you take the threat seriously, then there isn't a deterrant. The world survuved 40 years of cold war based on the idea od mutually assured destruction -- both sides knowing the consequences of aggression were too extreme.
I guess what she shoud have said is "If Iran attack Isreal, I'll ask them to stop. And then I'll ask strenuously. And then I'll ask really strenuously." Would that make you happier?

Wow! You are insane.

Why? How would you deter Iran, assuming they develop nuclear capacity? What would you say to them that might deter an attack on an ally?
There's nothing wrong with letting them know the consequences will be severe. choosing to do so, a much different story. But I see nothing wrong with the threat, and planting the worry in their minds. Why do you?

I do not support horse torture, but sometimes coercive methods are necessary for our national security.

Thanks Genghis. You get it. My piece is not about animal torture nor abuse. It's about the public outcry over those who would write comments regarding the horses demise after the race and Hillarys comparison to the horse prior to. But no one screamed when Hillary commented about killing innocent people.

Animal cruelty is the third rail of the progressive blogosphere. Quickest way to get yourself flamed after racism and sexism.

How amazing, and I have to say not unexpected, that people would, still after reading my blog, tend to beat the dead horse issue...pun intended. Instead of commenting on the "obliterate" comment from Hillary, you still defend the horse over people.
And now we know why Bush is the current President.

Let me be clear, this is not a pro life stance I'm taking. Without 'respect' for life, all life and the way we treat it were just pissing in the wind. We are all integrated and unless we begin to understand this reality we will execute ourselves.
All things share the same breath - the beast, the tree,
the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
