Hillary Stops At Nothing (not a compliment)

avatar

I wasn't going to watch the HRC acceptance speech, but masochism dies hard.
Usually, she just annoys or disgusts me as she did the other day when talkin' t' the folks in West Virginia an' tellin' 'um -- as she put it -- "sump'un".
But tonight, when this very rich, self-willed, self-delusional lady asked the people of a poor state to ante up their hard-earned dollars for her quixotic campaign it struck me anew how little she cares about anything other than her own endless ambition.
Even worse is all this talk that her campaign engenders about what would have to happen for her to win. According to them, "something would have to happen to Barack Obama".
What kind of ugliness is this? What does it suggest?
To me it reads like a signal to one of America's psycho citizens to do something to him.
   I mean, to do "sump'un".
This isn't merely disgusting. It's downright awful. And scarey.

I keep wondering too what is this "sump'n" she thinks is gonna hap'n to the black guy? Are they threatening some kind of --- or planning, er plannin' some kinda sump'n -- what is the "dirt" they threaten will be the "October surprise" ... you're not alone in wondering. And she will not stop.

I just hope that the super delegates keep on coming.

I think the democratic party has enabled the Clinton campaign by sitting idly by as the Clintons discredit the entire democratic primary process.

Breaking the rules of FL and MI was the first clear sign that rules don't apply to Hillary. And that the DNC wasn't prepared to enforce them.

Even if all the delegate math remains in Obama's favor, the Clinton's will steamroll over the entire party and force them to overturn the voice of the voters.

"Let's just see what Hillary wants us to do" seems to be the motto of the Democratic party.

Adopting a wait and see attitude, indulging the ambitions of one woman who has lost this primary by every measure, is no way to stand up for the winner.

If you've won. Why are you Whining?

If Hillary's winning, why are you and Otto covering every post with your usual wet blankets so quickly tonight?

I rely on my very cool headed friends to keep me from going into a complete tailspin.
I have this image - from Misery. At the end when you think he's killed her, and then suddenly Kathy Bates' character rears up and lunges at him again...
So, yes he finishes her off. But then, wait, he's in a cafe and suddenly sees her approaching...
What if the superdelegates do declare for him after the last Primary? And then she comes back again at the convention? Lord, they were discussing that on CNN just a little while ago!
I see McAuliffe going on about what an amazing speech she's going to give - and all I hear before I can't bear to listen to her any more is her asking these low income Appalachian voters to forget gas prices, food costs and donate to her, a multimillionaire, instead!
There's something deeply sick about this primary.
Gawd... What does it take?

I was appalled when she boasted not long after OH or PA that "seniors were going without medication and people took their grocery money to support my campaign" (paraphrased) and now, some kid sold his bicycle so he could support her campaign.

People who have very little should sacrifice so an extremely privileged multimillionaire woman with a bad case of overweening entitlement and enlarged sense of aggrieved victimhood can continue running?

Disgusting.
