Hillary shouldn't drop out. Unless she wants to
I voted for Obama and was delighted last night.
But don't think there's any objective reason HRC should withdraw. For starters, she could still win. If she wins Oregon as well as Kentucky and West Virginia she'll be near enough to Obama in delegates and popular votes that it's not frivolous for her to still attempt to sway enough super delegates to win.
Sure Obama , and I , would prefer she drop out. But then
last December when she was the favorite she'd have preferred him to withdraw.
Her obligation to the party is not to provide an easy contest, it's to provide it with the strongest candidate. Which I'm sure she thinks is her. And that may well be true.
She's a tough combatant.
Whether that might make her a worse president could also well be true.
I concede that she has an additional obligation to calibrate her attacks on Obama so they wound not kill. Mostly she , and he, have done that . I only fault her for the Ayers' comments. And don't fault him at all.
Might as well keep fighting. And let the best man(or woman) win.

I don't care if she continues to run. That's definitely her prerogative. But she shouldn't run as a Republican and do their work for them in the next few weeks.

Exactly. I sincerely wish she would drop out. But even more I wish people would stop publicly TELLING her to drop out -- that just creates a not-wholly-true "underdog" image for her, and a lot of people are drawn to root for the underdog.

Yes Yvaughn.....I came real close to starting a post about that!.....I dream of her dropping out, because hey...seems I/peopele alike care more about the party than allot of members, but...telling her to do it you know will let her claims she is being picked on again. Sucks for Obama as its not fair because I happen to think if the roles were reversed, they would be forcing him out. Thats the difference though, I think he can handle it, you know...REAL LEADERSHIP....:)

You make a fair point, but with all the healing that needs to take place time is running short.
