Hillary: "Rich people, God Bless Us."
On April 30, 2008, Hillary Clinton gave an interview to Bill O'Reilly. At one point while discussing Tax Policy, She actually had the "testicular fortitude" to say:
"You know what. Rich people, God Bless Us. We deserve all the opportunities"
I couldn't let this one just vanish into the ether so up it goes onto the InterTubes to forever live in infamy!

It did sorta sound like that. What I think she was actually saying (or trying to say) was: God blessed us. We deserve all the opportunities to give back…
(She did say that last bit, or something like it.)
Still trying to figure out why God chose to bless them, and not one of those poor, hungry kids in Africa.

In the Clinton era, the middle class was rich too.
(I was making 6 digits. It was nice. I hope the Clinton era returns)

Oh yeah, and Clinton was obviously being ironic.
Obama supporters have limited cognitive skills, but that's ok.

Here is another video of it.

If she did mean to say "God blessed us", it was a pretty careless slip up. At least as bad as Obama's "bitter" comment.
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Matthew 19:24
(I'm not usually one to quote scripture, but as long as Hillary brought it up, that one seemed particularly relevant in this discussion.)

Can you hear that drumbeat? It's getting louder: Peter Paul...Peter Paul.. Peter Paul... Sounds like a blessed rich guy who got screwed.

O'Reilly:
"Because I'm a saver and..."
And the clip cuts off everything else.
None of the clips you posted give any context for the discussion. From the "I'm a saver" remark, it looks like they're talking about something else, possibly even how much each thinks they do for the betterment of America (shudder).
Taking a Clinton quote out of context is exactly the same kind of bullshit we whine about with Clinton's attacks about "bitter" and Wright.

You beat me to it.
"We deserve all the opportunities to make sure our country and our blessings continue until the next generation."
Huge difference.

I am an Obama supporter, but I thought it was pretty clear she was being sarcastic. I thought the line a good one, actually.

No need to mislead with half quotes or any other half truths, pleease!

I play by the "Bill Clinton Rules of Politics".
Don't put on the pads if you don't want to get clipped.
If Obama had said this it would already be an Ad on the air in IN and NC.
Politics ain't beanbag so they say.

So you'll lie to get your way. Just don't pretend to speak for Obama supporters. The reason I support Obama is that I think he's telling the truth.
Good luck in your bitter version of the world.
