Hillary As VP Would Be A Disaster!
It makes me nervous that the Democratic Party is pushing the concept of a "dream ticket" again. And since Barack Obama will reach the vaunted 2025 delegate count within weeks, he should not be made to compromise in any fashion on HIS choice of VP.
It's very interesting that recently when Ted Kennedy simply stated that he didn't think it was a "good idea" having Hillary as VP, Rahm Emanual slammed him in the press. He said, "...I don't know how the hell he comes off saying that". Something is underfoot to force Obama to take Hillary on as VP within the Democratic party. It's almost like there's a campaign being waged.
To be blunt about it, Hillary does not deserve to be on the ticket. She has run a dishonorable campaign. There is still a lot of drama within her camp. She has hit Obama below the belt many times.
Imagine her as VP in an Obama administration. He is attempting to change Washington, to prioritize the America people. But Hillary would keep taking the largest amount of lobbyist contributions of any congressperson?. In effect she would still be obligated to serve their interests. And this will quickly lead to a huge fissure between her and Obama.
An Obama/Hillary ticket is a disaster in the making. And it must be opposed at all costs.

It's not a dream ticket, it's the nightmare ticket.

Yes, something is afoot and it is coming from the DLC. I expect that Obama knows this and also expect that he has the character and fortitude to handle this deftly. He is not going to allow himself to be turned into a tool for the DLC powerbase. But, I also expect that he will do it with sufficient grace, that he won't openly antagonize those who have been seeking to keep him out of office to date.
The fight within the Democratic Party will be as vicious and, in many ways, more interesting than the fight between the Parties.

It couldn't have anything to do with Hillary's 17 million supporters?

Not to mention that Hillary just requested a record 2.3 BILLION dollars in earmarks for 2009. How would that jive with Obama's call for a break from old-style Washington politics?

I'm gonna post this wherever I can.
No way. She's gotta go and Obama needs to stay as far away from her as possible. It's not ok if you're DeLay, it's not ok if you're failing Repub Co senate candidate Bob Schaffer who is getting killed by this in his race against Udall and on the frontpage of TPM and it's not ok if you're a Clinton.
She and Bill have been in league with the infamous Tan family since 1995. She'll argue ignorance but it won't matter, nobody will believe it.
The issue of corruption is killing the Republican party. Fixing that corruption is one of the central tenets of Obama's "change the way Washington does business" message. Hillary kills that message, and gives Repubs the chance to say "they all do it", he's no better, he picked Hillary to be his running mate, look at her. She'll muddy our message like she's muddied her reputation and kill our turnout.

Which is why the republicans and the media IMO need her so much. She is going to call people like you and me, "The leftest" part of the party, and try to divide us even further. Full disclosure Im not even a Democrat. I see the game though. People that don't want me on the ticket are the people who are faaaarrr to partisan. Watch it's commin.

When you're ill (Dem. party), you must vomit out what is making you sick (DLC & the Clintons).

With the Party divided in a campaign where the presumed nominee has as many liabilities as Obama has, and where Hillary is by some measures ahead in the popular vote, not putting Hillary on the ticket is a disaster. So is smoking. It doesn't look cool. It is a sign of poor judgment and being in denial. You should change that picture.

What about her negatives. I always here people talk about how Whites wont vote for Obama. Ok, then what about a Presidential candidate with negatives in the high 40's. So exit polls say this or that in a Primary in two states RIGHT NOW, because(again after Hillary lost, we assume she has the control to tell her supporters what to do and if they dont follow is that not a problem?) So why measure now with later on(nevermind, I cant take the spin)...but real question, they wont vote for him is the spew, then why are not his negatives as high as hers, and why is knowone reporting any of that?

Ahh, come on Bionic...
(You know us black folk can't be relied on to be competent without a master to watch over us....)
I can't stand this notion and the media. You know whats scary, imagine if her numbers went up in Indiana rather than down. To bad they didn't report how tragic that was for her.
Bias!
