Guam results certified without recount
This is not important at all—the race was a tie, for all intents and purposes—but I was curious what the outcome of the recount was.
It turns out that Joe Cameron, who called for the recount, withdrew his request at the last minute. The results were certified as is.

Interesting. I wonder why he withdrew his request. The only possible result of a recount (IMO) is a change in bragging rights as to who won Guam, (they split the delegates, and I doubt the recount would've altered that even if it found that Hillary won) but nothing has changed in that regard, so that doesn't explain a decision to withdraw.
Of course, if they had found that Hillary had won, it would've meant my post proclaiming Obama the victor would be wrong (and I'm never wrong), so I am glad he withdrew the request. ;)

I think he withdrew it because it would not have mattered.
On the other hand, it occurred to me that one of the superdelegates is supporting Obama 100% because he won the vote. She would thereby change her mind.
Incidentally, it occurred to me that the recount would have favored Clinton: it was in a district she won in a landslide, and I think the probability was that if 20 of the 500 or so uncounted ballots were considered valid, she likely would have squeaked ahead.

I failed to factor in the superdelegate, so, yeah, it could've made a difference, if only by one. I know nothing about the uncounted ballots, but if that were the only district to be recounted, you're absolutely right. I'd expect, however, that for exactly that reason, the Obama team would've wanted the other districts recounted as well (or at least the other districts favorable to him). Was this district unusual in the amount of uncounted ballots it had?

Actually, Pilar Lujan is on record saying she would support whoever won, but she hasn't endorsed anyone yet. So, it really doesn't matter.
