FBI interview McCain staffers in AZ
The Straight-Talk Express ran into another lump in its oatmeal. The Hill reports that:
Federal agents interviewed staffers for likely Republican presidential
nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) as part of their corruption case
against Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.).
The only remaining question is if enough Republicans will be left to run McCain's Presidential campaign. At this pace, it will be McCain and his chauffeur Joe Lieberman, doing the road trip version of Grumpy Old Men.
Will the Dukester be out in time to give them a hand?

Maybe they'll re-open the "Keating Five" investigation . . .
Or start asking why he sat on the evidence about Reed-Abramoff-Delay, et al., and the Indian casino racketeering . . .

McCain's very good friend and lobbyist, Wes Gullett lobbied in 2005 for a land swap on behalf of a shady-looking outfit named the Industrial Development Authority of the Town of Florence.
According to financial records, the Florence IDA was registered n 2003 and its one and only significant transaction besides hiring Gullett was to sell a single piece of property.
I posted the details about Gullett and the IDA and more here in the TPM Cafe today. href="http://tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com/talk/2008/05/wes-gullett-john-mccains-bff-l.php">here in the TPM Cafe today.
