Dems Throw A Hissy Fit While Bush Laughs In Our Faces

avatar

Amazing how the Democrats collectively wet their pants over Bush's inane remarks in Israel.  I've never seen a larger group of elected officials simultaneously hold their breath and stomp their feet.   It was like a bunch of 3 year olds becoming incontinent at the same time.

For God's sake, get over it.  "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

Such whining comes across as being over-sensitive.  Far better to simply say "Bush is an idiot" and shine him on as the incompetent, irrelevant lame duck he is.  Instead, we see gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair as Democrat after Democrat throws themselves to the ground, pounding their fists and shrieking in righteous indignation.

Bush has got to be loving this.  One comment of his turns the party leaders into whining pre-schoolers.   Sheesh...

No. Bush needed to get called out. He crossed a line. Granted, he's crossed many lines but this is the second time the Democrats said, "enough." The first time was on FISA.

Yes speak up please. In fact, shout louder. Btw, not a little comment in historical terms.

Of course Bush don't have any conscious about it.
He just has this "What me? Worry?" look on his face while he talks about how he gave up golf for the families of the Iraq war dead.

Only he didn't.

I agree. Speak up. But the WAY they are doing it is ridiculous.

Kerry - "Absolutely shameless"
Biden - "Bullsh*t"
Pelosi - "Beneath the dignity of the office"
Hillary - "Offensive"

How about you attack Bush by pointing out his failed foreign policy, instead of saying you were "offended".

"Waaah! He called us names! That hurts our feelings! Waaaah!"

That's my point.

I have no idea how old you are. Clearly you have no personal understanding of what this insinuation brings. To pronounce it within the Israeli Knesset (looking for maximum impact)for all the world to see shows what an utter disgrace Bush is to the world.
They're right to be outraged.
This isn't about tit for tat. Our political leaders need to stand up and show the globe that we will not support Bush's assault on the memories of millions.

And no, I didn't experience the Holocaust either. But that doesn't make me insensitive to the politicizing of the Nazi war crimes which are a blight upon humanity. This is about principles, not temper tantrums.

President Bush stands before the nation of Israel and announces that our democratic nominee would have appeased Hitler.

Somehow, responding with "Oh that Bush, he's just a lame duck" falls a little short. Especially when you consider the fact that this lame duck is rallying Israel to get behind launching a war with Iran in the next 250 days.

Ignore him at your own risk.

I said it would be better for them to shine him on than to whine like they are.

"Such whining comes across as being over-sensitive. Far better to simply say 'Bush is an idiot' and shine him on as the incompetent, irrelevant lame duck he is. "

Yes, attack attack attack. But for the love of all that is holy, stop the whining like he called you a bad name or something.

NOT THIS TIME

Lieberman: Bush "Got It Exactly Right"
Biden: Bush Speech "Bullshit"

My only quibble is - the Dems didn't go far enough

Like perhaps pointing out that the Government of Iraq is thick as thieves with the Iranians who trained, funded and now sponsor their militia the Badr Corps

Haul out pics of Ahmadinejad with Maliki and Talabani or perhaps from last December Bush with al-Hakim

I just watched Tweety administer a total ass whuppin' on Hardball. He was interviewing Mark Green and some loudmouthed Republican knucklehead about Bush's comments.

Matthews certainly seems to shift with the wind sometimes, but he can also be like a pit bull on some issues, and he absolutely chewed this Republican guy's leg off! Gory, and great fun. If you missed it, watch it at the 7:00PM showing.

It's called "working the ref." We've got to get into their face like this every time we get the opportunity. It's time we owned the night.

Get in their face. Tar them with the war. Turn the fear against them for a change - blame them for the next war, blame for the cost of this war and then next war. Blame the bad economy on the war. Blame them for the recklessness and folly. A little isolationism is not all bad either. Doesn't play all that badly west of the Mississippi.
