So what's the mood in North Carolina? Check out this diary and clip at Daily Kos to find out:

astral,

In that clip, I can hear clearly some people chanting "Obama, Obama" as well as some other people chanting "Hillary, Hillary"

It may be time to cool it and wait for the results of the Primaries. Then move forward...

No need to fuel animosity; there is plenty of that already, no?

Yes, Hillary gave the Obama supporters an opening and they took it, and then the HIllary supporters answer back. It all sounds to be in good spirit. I found the clip and diary to be interesting, it's fresh news today that I haven't seen elsewhere yet, and I really didn't think it would be a problem to share it.

Why should we wait for the results in the primaries? Mathematically she can't win - why is that so difficult for people to grasp? She is the rude one staying in the race and trying to tear down her fellow Democrat. The animosity is because of her refusal to see the facts and because of her changing the rules as she goes along.

Carol,

Actually, we don't have to wait, we can start looking forward already. But we don't have another choice but to follow the process. By the rules, Hillary has no obligation to concede because Obama doesn't have yet those 2024 delegates needed.

We have already won, as you've noticed. As of last week Obama has joined a DNC effort to register voters in the 50 States. He is already looking forward...

While she grasps at straws, her manipulation tactics are just a few of the things she has left. Why engage her? And why rile up her supporters?

If anything, this will fuel the belief among Clinton supporters like myself that Obama supporters are jerks. Who tries to wreck the rallies of the other candidate?

If you are going to go around and call people jerks, what are we supposed to think of you?

Um, it wasn't a rally - it was at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner in NC at which both Clinton and Obama were speaking. Did you even read the link that Opus provided? Jeesh...

And you know what? In my opinion, she has brought this on herself. Sorry to say, but you reap what you sew and this anymosity is certainly what she has sown.

brand182,

What did calling me "jerk" fullfill in you?

(PS: I don't think this was a Hillary rally, but a NC Democratic Party dinner.)

I was there last night for Barack's speech. Hillary went on first and there were many (1/3) of her supporters that stayed for Barack. Outside Hillary' supporters who had heard her speak were fired up. They had a very enthusiastic rally across from the arena.

I saw nearly has many Hillary placards in the parking lot and arena combined as Obama ones. I was surprised by the amount her support.

Based on recent observations, it will be very close.

Thanks for the on-the-scene report Qdog! I've found that first-hand accounts such as yours are the most popular posts here and on sites like Kos. You should write this up and post it! Especially if you can maintain some unbiased objectivity, people seem to respond to that, too.

No fuel needed. Just more excuses for what you thought all along.

**It wasn't a Clinton rally!
