This is just another example of REAL news being IGNORED.

There is so much of that now. The extent to which the Rev is dominating the cable news networks is obscene. I just heard John King on CNN say in focus groups of white working class people when you say Obama "more and more" they first think of Rev. Wright. I wonder why? The MSM is doing their best.

I saw that too. I really had the impression that it was scripted. What a creep! I won't say what I yelled at the TV when he said it, but it rhymes with "luck you!"

Yeah, I said pretty much the same thing.

Just checking though, this is from 1992? I can't find any evidence that Mickey Kantor is connected to *Hillary* Clinton's Presidential campaign in any way.

I looked at his wiki page and he does look younger in the video so perhaps it is from the *other* Clinton campaign.

Hi folks -- sorry to burst your bubble, though I imagine your reaction to this little video is not glee, in any case - but this is indeed footage from the 1992 Clinton campaign. It may have even showed up in "The War Room" documentary about Bill's campaign and their revolutionary (at the time) rapid response team. We know this because we're looking over James Carville's shoulder in the shot and the camera finally turns to George Stephanopoulos at the very end of the clip.
I think Hillary's people are deluding themsleves that she actually is some sort of working class hero. I'm looking at the latest polls and getting a feeling about why white non-college workers are buying this tripe about Obama being elitist -- they feel they are on the short end of an achievement gap. And it makes them feel bad about themselves.
After all, they imagine that Obama looks down on them because he was a mixed race child born to a teenage mom who raised him mostly as a single parent -- and he should not have gotten as far as he has in life. If they were in his shoes, they would look down on other people.
They know this about themselves and they're not proud of it -- by supporting Hillary they don't need to think about the personal issues they have with Obama's life of achievement and their own envy/resentment. While for many a vote for Obama makes them feel good, these folks are grateful for Hillary as an excuse to not feel bad about themselves.
