Candy Crowley says Hillary GAINS nothing fomr RFK Remarks - BULLWIKY
The idea as Candy Crowly expressed on CNN last night that Hillary 'gains' nothing by making that statement about why she's staying in this race -- invoking the memory of RFK being shot in June -- is a very WRONG comment of Candy to make.
Hillary gains a lot. By getting the MEMORY out there, voters and super delegates are forced to THINK about the idea of Obama getting killed - then what would they do?
Hillary made this comment for a reason -- wake up Supers.
How dare Candy to ignore this FACT. The Clinton's, like the Bush's, do NOTHING without a reason.

Why does everyone assume this had anything at all to do with the actual assassination? Oh, I can answer my own question. It's a way to make Hillary an even bigger monster than you all have attempted to make her up until now.
It had to do with RFK's candidacy into June, and if anyone in this race is in danger of assassination, it's Hillary, what with all the vitriolic hatred coming at her from Obama supporters.
Grow up, will you?

Crowley is the media puppet who did in Kerry.
Trust her word!
She salutes her corporate boss and does what she's told.

Here is my own take on this nonsense:

Gee, Mr Finger, I didn't bother to go to your link. Why? Because you are a paranoid blatherer who brings nothing to the table except nonsense!

I don't think Hillary intends Obama any physical harm. I also don't think she was referencing the RFK assassination as timeline alone.
Here's the thing everyone seems to be missing:
Hillary has a limited time to get on the ticket at all. She knows she's lost the nomination, but wants the veep slot. She has to secure it BEFORE Obama picks someone else or it gets very iffy. Being in the veep slot means she would be instantly promoted if something happens. If she's NOT already in the veep slot, SOMEONE ELSE gets instantly promoted. So what does she do? She tries to use her "ready-on-day-one" credentials in a worst-case assassination scenario. See Clinton fundraiser Hassan Nemazee's quote earlier yesterday for an explicit expression of this idea.
Creepy, but that's how her mind works. Or doesn't.

Candy Crowley is correct. This was a stupid move on Hillary's part, just like her Bosnia lie. It was entirely self-destructive, and did her no good whatsoever. Hillary's goal, clearly, was to remind voters that she had a good reason to stay in this race because Obama might be assassinated. But it does her no good to say so. She can think it, she can hope for it, she can fantasize about it, but she should keep her fucking big mouth shut about it because what she said was very, very stupid.

Exactly. Anyone who wants to make the Clintons out to be this super-efficient machine hasn't been paying attention to the many, many gaffes that have been made during the primary season.

Either Candy Crowley is a master of understatement or a real idiot (if you've ever watched her in action, you'll know which).
I'm sure fatigue must have played a major role here, but the statement is a huge opening for all sorts of negative interpretation. There's no way that most people could understand that when she said the fraught word "assassinated" she actually meant "continued his candidacy into June."
This is exactly the kind of gaffe the Clinton campaign was hoping Obama would make. And she would have made hay with it . . .

Hillay by saying what she did - admitted failure to WIN the nomination. Instead she has to HOPE that something happens to Obama to GET the nomination.
She's LOST and she knows it.

Hillary apparently thinks that, if she can draw our attention to Obama's vulnerability, and make us afraid for his safety, we will either: a) encourage the Supers to throw the nomination her way, right now; or, b) at least insist that we want her on the ticket as VP....just in case.
Sorry, Hillary. You are no longer a person we want in the White House, under any circumstances -- particularly that one. In such an unspeakable -- I repeat, unspeakable -- event, our VP must be someone whose personal integrity is unquestionable and whose judgment is sound.
You have misread the "will of the people" because you cannot differentiate that collective will from your own willfullness. This isn't about you, Hillary. It's about everyone.
