Can We End This Now? List of Uncommitted Super Delegates
Clinton also talked about John Kennedy's death earlier in the campaign, in reflecting on other inspirational leaders who didn't make it. At best this is a horrible gaff by an extremely calculating and skilled politician. The "harding working whites" and "Bobby Kennedy's death" is more than ample reason to end this now.
There are 64 uncommitted super delegates who are elected officials. 49 of them are congressmen or women. Perhaps those of you who are inclined, could contact uncommitted super delegates and ask them to put this baby to bed. Pressure, especially from their own constituents, might move some to endorse sooner. Please recommend even if you are not inclined to contact your representative.

These superdelegates are a bunch of gutless cowards. They are destroying the party by allowing Hillary's meltdown. She's the kamikaze candidate now, yet these assholes sit on their hands and let it happen. And when HRC goes too far, they listen to her assurances that she won't go too far. She buys more time for her swipes and smears and manuevers.
I believe she has every intention of stealing the nomination and creating havoc at the convention. She buys time and pretends she won't but continues inexorably towards that end.
The superdelegates will bear grave responsibility if she drags this out til Denver and McCain wins.

I have been emailing my congressman (on the uncommitted list) about every other day for two months. I recommend picking the one or two on the list who are closest to your district/state, whatever, and let them know what you think.

Edwards delegates and unions are going one way. There will be more add-ons this weekend after state conventions. Byrd did not want to influence the primary, but IRAQ was his deciding factor How many of the uncommitted are in the Out of Iraq Caucus in the House? Obama has had the majority of Senators for a while. If think the DNC people don't want to move until after PR to avoid any hint of over turning things. I am going to the WV state convention June 13, and Mrs. Germond of WV lives in my part of the state.

I could understand wanting to wait. The fact is this is not how this is done. When a candidate is done they bow out gracefully. Hillary is hanging around too long. She doesn't know when to stop. She is saying things she shouldn't be saying. What happened today is dangerous.

No she'll be hanging around too long if she has still not conceded after June 4th when by most estimates Obama will have a majority of delegates. I think Obama needs about 4 new super delegates a day for the next week then a surge on the second and third so that a win in Montana or Soth Dakota can officially cast the deciding vote.

She is hanging around too long because she is losing it. The things she is saying are hurting the party her reputation and are potentially dangerous. What is the point of musing about assassination? She did the same thing in march with a Time interview.
It like being the last person to leave after a party. It's time to go.

I agree. She made it clear when she said this week that she would take it to the convention if MI and FL were not resolved to her satisfaction. She is not giving up and fully willing to drag this bitter battle to Denver. Although I think she may be gunning for a VP spot at this point since her main surrogates have begun pushing this idea (Bill and Terry). If she doesn't get it (likely scenario) then she will take it all down. She is damaging her potential legacy with this strategy. It really is time for the supers to get in now and end this. They will have to anyway and the remaining primaries don't have enough delegates to make a difference. Everyone is afraid of pissing off Hillary's supporters but the math is the math and they aren't going to be happy with it anyway. We need to put this pathetic side show to bed and focus on the general.

Yes, write them.
Enough with these emotional wrecks of Obama supporters.
This is Presidential politics and you do not have the stomach for it.
I call on all Clintons supporters to take it all the way to the convention and lets show them how to fight .
Clinton is the one to beat McCain.
All the way to the convention like Ted Kennedy.
