I'm not going to check it out. Something tells me it's another attack on Hillary. I think it's time to put all that behind us and start working to get the party back together again and defeat McCain.
Driving home this evening I turned on AirAmerica again and got to hear Randi Rhodes saying how Hillary used the race card. It's going to be really hard for Randi to give up bashing Clinton. She gives every impression of hating Hillary with every fiber of her being. It would be such a hoot to have an Obama/Hillary ticket. I can also imagine Nancy Pelosi having a stroke and AmericaBlog's John Aravosis having to be put away.

Otto, I'm really amused at all of your overtures for making nice today. Remember earlier this week right before the election when you were hitting every thread you could just to mention Rev. Wright, regardless of the topic?

No thinking person is going to take this video as literally comparing Hillary to Hitler.
Hyperbole to make a satirical or comedic point is a well-established practice. I thought this was actually pretty clever at making the point that ego and hubris are the downfall of many public figures.
Hitler is an obvious extreme (as was Mao and Stalin and every other murdering thug in the long, bloody history of mankind) but Hillary exploiting long-standing social divisions in an attempt to gain the democratic nomination is certainly at the other extreme and is driven by the same sort of narcissism and ego.
Hopefully we can move past criticism of our candidate being taken as personal insult since that leads to the destruction of our burgeoning and long-awaited progressive movement. I am doing my best not to take anything said about Barack personally. I just try to calmly and rationally explain why I think that person is making a judgment without the right information. Then I provide some new information.
No need to be insulting, though I must admit that it can be hard with the more stubborn trolls.

Actually, the basic comparison of her to Hitler is indeed an attack. Someone did a good job matching the subtitles to the action, but still... attack.
Fine for those who will enjoy it, mind you.
But for those who want to avoid that sort of thing, let's not try to trick them into watching.

I don't know, I think the clip of her telling a church full of black leaders that "the House of Representatives has been run like a plantation and you know what I'm talking about" is the best.

Otto, after HRC's blatantly racial remarks today in the USA Today interview, I find your comments about "laying off" Hillary pretty laughable. She makes it impossible for most of us to show her any respect at all.
