Otto, I'm really amused at all of your overtures for making nice today. Remember earlier this week right before the election when you were hitting every thread you could just to mention Rev. Wright, regardless of the topic?

No thinking person is going to take this video as literally comparing Hillary to Hitler.

Hyperbole to make a satirical or comedic point is a well-established practice. I thought this was actually pretty clever at making the point that ego and hubris are the downfall of many public figures.

Hitler is an obvious extreme (as was Mao and Stalin and every other murdering thug in the long, bloody history of mankind) but Hillary exploiting long-standing social divisions in an attempt to gain the democratic nomination is certainly at the other extreme and is driven by the same sort of narcissism and ego.

Hopefully we can move past criticism of our candidate being taken as personal insult since that leads to the destruction of our burgeoning and long-awaited progressive movement. I am doing my best not to take anything said about Barack personally. I just try to calmly and rationally explain why I think that person is making a judgment without the right information. Then I provide some new information.

No need to be insulting, though I must admit that it can be hard with the more stubborn trolls.
