Ben Smith's Misleading Headline
I was greatly disturbed when I read today Ben Smith's misleading, and in my opinion bigoted, headline "Is the fact that Obama's muslim and his pastor Christian a problem?". Firstly, this headline does not even reflect the content of the post to which it refers. Secondly, notice how the word Christian is capitalized and the word muslim is not. Any spell checker will recognize this error, so I can only assume he worded it that way on purpose. This in my opinion demonstrates bias. Thirdly, and most importantly it contributes willfully to the propagation of misinformation and it slurs both Obama and the Muslim American community in an ugly way.
I tried to send a polite but firm note to the editor in chief at politico.com but it was rejected as spam. After several attempts at rewording it I gave up. Perhaps it was the offensive title itself, which I quoted in my comment, that set off the spam filter.

The pro Clinton forces have become increasingly nasty with each passing primary. This will continue beyond June 3rd, going all the way to the convention. Desperation is driving this dynamic. If the party leaders permit that to happen the party deserves to self-destruct after the GE.

I hope you try again. It's important for him to hear that.

Maybe he meant to write about Obama's muslin clothing.

Ben Smith is a tool.
Keep it coming. Every day you do the Republican's work for them, the closer the supers get disgusted.
I hope.
