Are Hillary Supporters Advocating Other Dems to Vote for McCain?

avatar

Do Hillary and Bill Clinton agree with Marc Rubin's blog on the Tom in Paine website?

If super delegates corrupt the democratic process and send out a dishonest and dirty politician like Obama, one that the majority of Democrats voted against, the Democrats are assured of losing in November.

Super delegates have only one decision to make now. Do they want a Democrat in the White House come January or not. Because any vote for Obama is going to be a vote for John McCain. And in the fall.17 million Clinton voters are going to make sure of that. And no one can blame them.

I thought Hillary and Bill both said they would be behind Obama 100% and work their hearts out for him 'if' he should win this nomination?  Are they lying 'again'?

The Clintons don't call it lying. They just say one thing one moment, then its opposite the next moment, and deny any contradiction. How else to explain how Hillary has been all over the map in her attitude toward Obama?

I for one will be amazed if she concedes this election before the delegates actually vote at the convention in August. And for anyone who feels complacent about Obama's chances, try reading a little bit at the site referenced in this post:

http://tominpaine.blogspot.com/

It is filled with anti-Obama diatribes that are breathtaking, and this from fellow Democrats! We have a serious problem in this party.

How do you know that Tom In Paine is a democrat?

It's a blog on the the internet for Christ sake.

Exactly. The internet makes this sort of psychological warfare a lot easier than ever before.

Most Hillary supporters, at least the ones I see on-line who aren't trolls, seem to be OK with Barack as the nominee, even though they thought Hillary was the better choice. The polls suggest (and have been mostly right on other things) that at worst 20% or so of Hillary's people won't support Barack.

Just because they are the loudest doesn't mean they represent the majority or are even democrats at all.

I have searched high and low over at DKos for a great diary that looked at several of the rabid pro Clinton sites and did a study of unique visitors. The number was small and compared to unique visitors of Dkos a decidedly pro Obama site.

So yes is there a problem, but serious, only if Hillary decides to not endorse and not campaign for Obama enthusiastically.

First you ask:

"Do Hillary and Bill Clinton agree with Marc Rubin's blog on the Tom in Paine website?"

And then you seem to suggest they do, with no evidence.

Christ, any whackjob can put up a blog in ten minutes. To even suggest that what Tom (whoever he is and whatever his agenda) In Paine might write even remotely resembles the thinking of Clinton or her campaign is to engage in the same type of utter nonsense in which the whackjob is engaging.

The only thing I saw of interest at that TIP blog was the link to the Count Every Vote! rally ...

I would really love to see photos of that rally. If I happened to be in DC that day, I'd get a kick out of dropping by.

When: May 31st – We will meet at 7 am and rally until around 4 pm.

Where: Outside the Marriott-Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Rd, NW in Washington D.C.

Manufacturing Dissent ... ain't it grand?

By the way, here's word from the Obama campaign:

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/5/27/143533/931/88/523677

*Do Not Protest DNC R&B on May 31st*

Don't yell at the Committee. Don't mock the people who've come to yell for Hillary. Don't wave "Obama '08" signs in the faces of the DNC R&B Committee members. Don't make a fuss they say--go register voters, in Virginia.

Go register voters. Now there's a constructive idea.

Obama is indeed a class act!!

Really Connie, quit the innuendo and hack blogism?

This is why so many Clinton supporters are alienated. Not because of Senator Obama, but because of hack support like this. Put the tinfoil hat down and go register voters or work in a soup kitchen or do something constructive.

And by the way, the answer to your question is No.

But nice of you to lay that out there for the headline with no evidence. Should get you onto the recommended list in no time.

Sheesh
