"after some last minute-debate"
Quote from a NY Times piece of last night/today:
"You can tell where Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama think they have their best shot by where they will be on Tuesday night: Mrs. Clinton has a hotel ballroom in Indianapolis, and Mr. Obama, after some last-minute debate, finally decided on a rally at a coliseum in Raleigh, N.C."
Note the words, "after some last minute-debate". Candidates' internal polling is mysterious to the rest of us, but is there something going on here? Is Obama that close to a win in Indiana that there's a reason for him to rally in Indiana on Primary Night?

Possibly. Or perhaps he was planning to move on to the next contested state rather than remaining in either Indiana or N. Carolina. He left Pennsylvania before the vote.

Of course, it's speculating on one phrase. But perhaps, he's closer than the 4 to 8 points that the polls are indicating. Pennsylvania was a bit more decisive (~9%). I think that "mymorningcoffee" (below) might have the right handle on this.
But it does give one pause.

I noticed the same thing. Maybe he can pull off Indiana, but it would look really stupid if he lost the state and gave a concession there rather than a victory speech in NC.
It's the right move.
