50% of NY Democrats want Hillary to drop out

Even New Yorkers have turned on Hillary.

From Rasmussen:

Fifty percent (50%) of New York Democrats say it’s time for Senator Hillary Clinton to drop out of the race for the White House. Just 43% believe she should keep going. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey also found that most New York Republicans—52%--want Clinton to keep striving for the nomination. Overall, among all Empire State voters, 45% believe she should drop out while 43% disagree. (See Video)

Just 16% of New York Democrats think Obama should drop out of the race.

Forty-seven percent (47%) of New York voters believe Obama is the stronger general election candidate. Forty-three percent (43%) believe Clinton would be better.
Ba bye.

I, Hillary Clinton, your future president, gratefully accept the endorsement of New Yorkers who would like me to drop out of the race, and become president today.

The overwhelming voices of these 50% of New Yorkers, sends a loud and clear message, that I am the only candidate who can win New York, California, New Jersey and Massachusetts in November.

Much Love,
Hillary - be seeing you in Denver.

Wow. Miss Hillary can copy & paste! Yippee.

Nobody asked me, or anyone I know.

She'll be primaried.

I'm surprised it's only 50%. I think a more revealing poll would be to ask whether New Yorkers would vote for Hillary if she seeks another senatorial term, or governorship.

50% is huge when you take into account only 16% think Obama should withdraw.

She's already lost my vote. I think if the Dems can field another good candidate or the NY GOP can field a "Bloomberg-like" candidate (or maybe Bloomberg himself), there could be a very contentious race coming up here.

Interesting - count me in the % that thinks she should stay in. Every primary/convention that has been held in the exit polls say the race should continue. Why the need for Hillary to pull out? Did Jesse Jackson pull out in 1988? No and had zero chance of catching up to Dukakis.

Oh my God! I've exposed myself as a racist for daring to compare Hillary to Jesse Jackson. My deepest deepest apologies to anyone I may have offended.

Count me in as well.

Can't wait until 2012 when she's knocked off in the primary.

Pun intended.

This post would make it seem Obama is the better nominee, so I am going to choose to ignore it and go with Karl Rove's analysis!

Another funny post.

From your Rasmussen article:

In the race for the White House, both Democrats are safely ahead of McCain in New York. Clinton leads McCain 59% to 29% while Obama leads 52% to 33%.

Thanks!

That wasn't the point. The point is in Hillary's home state, they want HER out of the race.

Shmuck.
