Will Hillary admit to having signed the DNC FL MI agreement at a live campaign rally?

avatar

It's the old obfuscation trick. I would bet that no one, not one voter attending Hillary's rallies has heard her say that she signed an agreement with all the other candidates that Florida and Michigan delegates wouldn't count. Has anyone at these live rallies pressed her specifically about whom we should trust, the Hillary that signed the agreement, or the Hillary that wants to break the agreement?
Can any reporter get her to admit, in front of her supporters, or a debate audience, that yes, she signed the agreement and now she's breaking the agreement?

You will see her dodging live sniper rounds at an event before you get her to admit that she agreed that Florida and Michigan would not count.

She will never admit it. And the only damn reason she won't fess up is because it isn't true. She only signed an agreement not to campaign in those states, which she abided by. She said all along, as did Dean, that ultimately the voters in those states would have to be heard. But then I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know. It's easy to google.

The agreement (which was posted on this site among others but which I cannot find now) said that the candidates signing the agreemtn agreed to not 'campaign or participate' in the MI and FL primaries. Sen Clintons entire arguement is based on ignoring the word participate.

The agreement was that the candidates would not campaign prior to the votes in those states.

They did not agree to remove their names from the ballot. They did not agree "that Florida and Michigan delegates wouldn't count." They did not agree to not support the seating of those states at the convention through a mechanism of the credentials committee that the rules allow for.

Where is the actual text of this "agreement?"

It has always been my understanding that the candidates agreed not to campaign in Florida and Michigan. Where is the evidence that the candidates signed an agreement not to challenge the seating of those two states at the convention?

I voted for Obama and I'd like to see Clinton get out of the race, but I think this is a stretch.

Ah yes, thank you Don. Sorry that I overlooked your post initially.
