Why is Stephanopoulos a Moderator?
Here is an interesting question for ABC: Why is George Stephanopoulos a moderator when he was a senior political advisor in the 1992 Clinton Campaign and then Clinton's communications director in the White House.
Not that he seems particularly partisan in this debate, but you'd think ABC would consider something like that when they make decisions about the moderators.

George isn't really a big Clinton fan. But besides that, he's sucking as a moderator tonight.

I agree strongly. And what percentage of the first hour of this debate was dedicated to attacking Obama on gotcha issues? Will have to go back and decide, but I estimated about 90%.
Hit Obama on "bitter" (didn't hit Clinton on response to "bitter," hit Obama on Wright, hit Obama on Ayers (and I'm sorry, but did Stephanopoulos just use a debate to try to "break" an Ayers story on the national stage?).
Hit Clinton on Bosnia. Lasted maybe ten minutes.

Well, amazingly Senator Clinton hasn't been caught with a foot in her mouth all too many times. These are all issues that should collapse even a bid to become a State Representative. However, populist lingo coming out of the mouth of the victimized black man who speaks like a Harvard lawyer is so appealing to the entertainment offered by the networks, nobody has the ability to pull the plug. I am going to enjoy watching the further collapse of American industry under the helm of this PRI wannabe. Watch as the world passes us by as we opt for trade isolationism, to continue to produce goods that developing nations can produce for fractions of the price, just to keep crappy jobs for American's who refuse to get even a technical education.
