What's YOUR favorite blog post?
I'm a newbie here, but one thing I've realized over the last few days is that there are many excellent blog posts that are still relevant after they drop off the rec list or that never make it there. And I'm sure I've missed many of them. So, what's your favorite post?

I thought that this was a good idea, though maybe it takes too much work for people to dig up their favorites. Also, I've found that I can't see any posts that are older than a month old. Perhaps try it again when things are quieter on the list.

Thanks, Genghis! In retrospect, I think it would have worked better if I'd started with an example; people aren't so good at pulling ideas out of thin area. Maybe another day.

FlyOnTheWall is actually called FlyOnTneWall (read carefully), as I realized not long ago. I second Genghis's recommendation there. I don't know who FlyOnTneWall is, but he/she is a pro.
Instead of favorite blog posts, I'd say I have favorite blog posters. Genghis, clearthinker, Ben Hocking, astral66/Opus Hussein X, allsburg - to name just a few. Just go to people's profiles and look at their past blogs.
My favorite commenter would be idiotic. Idiotic doesn't say much, but the delivery is superb.

FlyOnTneWall (I'd never noticed the 'n'... subtle!) is the first poster who caught my attention, when I was browser around one day, and that's pretty much what pulled me into the site. But oddly enough I hadn't thought of going to back to review Fly's blog; that's an excellent idea.
