Heh, I was in Victoria Falls, and all over Zimbabwe, in 1999, two years after Clinton was there. The Zimbabwean economy had deteriorated a lot since 1997, but things were still perfectly peaceful and safe. (It was one of the few Third World countries I've visited where most people had access to safe, potable tap water.) No sniper fire anywhere ;)
