I spent the day on Long Island, away from the computer.

Did anything interesting and earth-shattering happen today while I was gone?

The sun rose here, to a most beautiful and unseasonably warm day in NY.

Buds and birds and bees and no business or bitterness. It was a lovely day.

So....on to politics. Give me the short story. Like Rachel Maddow would.

I watched some politics on teevee while helping to cook a big dinner with some of my friends and getting ready for that dinner and all the accompanying rituals for this special day.

On one teevee the Mets were playing. On the other teevee, I saw Obama on a whistle stop route from Philly to Harrisburg. Bob Casey went with him. Good speeches. Big crowds.

Casey and Obama. I must say, they are a pretty pair.

Hillary gave some good speeches too. She was barnstorming.

McWarmonger sez Hamas is now living under our beds wants Obama as Prez. Hence we must run scaird into McWarmongers arms and he'll keep us safe, wage a 100 year war, and kill the people living under our beds.
