Yes, I have fat fingeritus.
THERE WAS AN OLD WOMAN NAMED HILLARY
WHO TOOK BARAK TO THE PILLORY
SHE SAID WITH GREAT PRIDE
THAT IT’S BEEN A GREAT RIDE
BUT SHE ENDS UP JUST SOUNDING MORE SHRILLARY

You're a Republican, and sexist, right? That explains the inability to tell the difference between, on one hand, criticizing policies and policy proposals, and on the other, engaging in elementary school playground name-callings/personal attacks.
The person discredited is YOU.
No Democrat would use Republican cheap-shotting against a Republican, let alone against a Democrat.

I am sorry that you feel that way,
but if you would take a time out, a little break, maybe a nice glass of wine, a shot of crown, a little doobie, or whatever will help you sooth that frayed nerve, I have something polite to say. How about a little(clean)joke?
A string walks into a bar and asks for a beer. The bartender says "we don't serve strings here". Dismayed, the string leaves. He then trims the top off of his string and roughs it up to look like hair. He walks back in the bar and asks for a beer. The bartender says " I told you before, we don't serve strings here and you are still a string". The string then says "No, I'm a frayed knot".
If you had taken the time to look at my profile, you would have realized that I am neither sexist or (UGH) republican. I started out as a Hillary fan, but as she seems to descend deeper and deeper into her own private reality, I realized that 'Hope' however fragile, is better than illogical fighting. I know that you feel strongly about Hillary, but if you took an objective view, would better understand why Obama folks want this over. She IS hurting the party by dredging up stuff that no Democrat should be throwing at another. I know that you might feel that Obama has, too, but He will be the victor. Hillary should become the new Ted Kennedy and help lead this Party back into the sunshine.
I promise that I will whole heartedly support Hillary or Obama, whichever wins, because we need to take back the White House and NEVER let it go again.

You're the best. My feelings were really hurt for a minute. Excuse me, I have a check to write to Obama. All jokes aside, we REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY gotta take back the White House.

JNagarya, I miss your comments over at muckraker.
How do you define "Republican cheap-shotting?" I think your blanket statement about Democrats being completely above such behavior might be attributing too high a standard to our beloved party.
In the primary campaigns, cheap shots have been leveled by both sides at one another, by surrogates, and sometimes by the candidates themselves. The sniper fire incident generated plenty of snark from the Obama camp. Clinton calling Obama an elitist is like the pot calling the kettle black. James Carville compared Bill Richardson to Judas for goodness' sake. Obama ridiculed Senator Clinton for hanging out in a duck blind. Clinton complimented John McCain's experience while she tore down Obama in the same sentence.
So I'd say that some of those are definite cheap shots. Are they "Republican" cheap shots? It's enough to say that Democrats most definitely cheap shot each other, and probably cheap shot Republicans too.
That said, I agree with you that this limerick departs from the realm of even scathing political criticism, and into the childish mockery zone.

I get it. It' pretty clear that it is a joke, because all humor is based in truth. If you don't like the truth, you won't find it funny, but I just don't understand how you can get sexist republican out of this limerick.

Now this one baffles me. What has JNagarya been smoking? Or NOT smoking. JNagarya does not seem to have been paying attention.
Lighten up folks, we have a White House to win.
