Obama's VP Part Deux
Int his post-Bittergate era, Obama has but one choice for VP: Sen Barbara Mukulski of MD. Short, tough, blue collar, female, old-line-Democrat, she's the perfect counter weight to tall, Marxist, elitist, male, Obama.

Aren't we already going to win in Maryland. I think even Dukasis and McGovern won in Maryland.

I disagree with the Marxist and elitist description.

I still say Jim Webb. You know the GOP attack is going to focus on questioning Obama's patriotism versus a war hero with sons currently in Iraq. Webb would cancel out basically every positive McCain would hope to gain from that attack as Webb is a decorated war hero and has sons in Iraq as well. He is a Washington outsider to boot, with bi-partisan credentials seeing as he was SecNav under Reagan.

Webb would be great, but he just started governing in Virginia. I don't think he would take it.
I think we should take someone from Florida, Graham or Nelson.

It is going to be the Governor of Ohio, or the Governor of Pennsylvania. Two US Senator on the same ticket makes no sense.

Meant to be funny, Spade. Of course I don't agree with those characterizations. Idea was to give O. some blue-collar grit. How about Jesse Ventura as VP?
