Obama gets 4 SD Endorsements Today...So Far.

Since there's nothing here at Election Central about these endorsements, I'm going to post this here.

First, Oklahoma governor Brad Henry endorses Obama today.

Secondly, Former Edwards National General Chairman and 49 Other Edwards Supporters Throw Support to Barack Obama

In that haul are three Super Delegates: David Price, Mel Watt, and G.K. Butterfield.

Not bad, and the day isn't over yet.

Someone tell Huffington Post!

This is inaccurate. He has received only one SD today -- Gov. Henry. The three others were previously announced.

Hillary also picks up one SD -- Congressman Tanner.

Duly noted. Unfortunately you can't edit blog posts.

I really wish people would research things before posting them.

I thought you would be used to twisted facts by now, being an HRC supporter!

avatar

Wow, my vitriol point remains, and you just proved it. Thanks. Instead of agreeing with a simple argument -- people should research what they post -- you insult Hillary supporters. Good one.

avatar

Understandable. We all make mistakes.

I'm just glad Obama didn't get 4 SD endorsements in a day. That had me cringing.

He actually got two.

Audra Ostergard, Associate Chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party and member of the Democratic National Committee is the second pickup today for Obama.

The North Carolina Representatives had endorsed earlier.

Did the supers say their kids made them do it?

Used to love that Flip Wilson, he always said the devil made him do it.

Well the cross over supers have to blame somebody and the kids are handy, and maybe can do them no harm.

It is interesting to hear that Clinton has "momentum" ... think about it ... Sen Obama was behind 20 to 25 point in PA just 6 weeks ago ... closed the lead to 9 points. Seems to me HE has the momentum ... the more people get to know him the more vote for him.
Remember 16 months ago Clinton had the following:
Greater national name recognition
Former Pres Clinton and the established national well financed and connected political machine
More money
Established, experienced campaign team
250 super-delagates
More endoresments from Gov, Sen, Congresspersons
Today she has the following:
Highest negativty rating
Lowest TRUST rating
2 MAJOR campaign turn overs all within 8 weeks!
Broke and owes 10 million dollars
Fewer pledged delagates (Obams has 150+ more)
Less of the popular vote (Obama has 600,000+ more)
Losing the Super-delagate race since Feb Obama 85+ to Clinton 8(?)
Lost more states even Texas
Fewer endorsements from Gov, Sen, Congresspersons
Has run the"WORST" managed campaign in recent memory
Oh ... she still has Pres. Clinton

Sen Obama has
More delagates
More popular votes
Won more states (contest) 11 in row at one point
Raised more money than any Dem in history
Brought more nrew Dems
Has more Gov, Sen, Congresspersons endorsements
Has run and managed a better campaign
Has higher "Trust" ratings

UMMMM ... that looks like "momentum" to me!!!

The real Question is Why hasn't Clinton knocked out Obama???

Don't forget that Hillary had inevitability. All the spin from the pundits at the beginning was that the race was hers to loose.

But all those are facts. And in modern American journalism, you never let a fact get in the way of a good story.

avatar

I love how this factually incorrect -- and easily proven incorrect -- diary is sitting on the recommended post. Clearly Obama supporters on here don't let facts get in the way.

avatar

Perhaps everyone is recommending the diary for your 2nd comment proving this wrong? You should feel happy. You're in service of your candidate today! Yay!

I'm a Barack Obama supporter and I'm pretty annoyed that this inaccurate story is sitting on the recommended list.

But your conclusion that 33 individuals indicate that "Clearly Obama supporters on here don't let facts get in the way" doesn't reflect badly on all Hillary Clinton (or as the case my be, John McCain) supporters. It only reflects badly on you.

The original poster's misrepresentation was accidental. Your's, Alex, was intentional.

**Clinton's got slo-mentum. No, no. She's got low-mentum. No no. She's got blow-mentum. Yeah. That's the ticket!

Will Edwards endorse Obama soon?

Surely he can do math.

People here, like myself, are way too invested in the outcome of this primary. I feel we must all be ready for disappointment. hiLIARy represents the status quo in politics. We idealists can only take hope in the fact that our children seem to be much smarter, more tolerant, and less shallow.
