Nuke Nuke Nuke Nuke Nuke Iran

I suppose we can should all be as sanguine about Hillary's generous extension of the US nuclear umbrella over the Middle East as Josh Marshall was.  What's a little superheated political rhetoric among friends eh?  Besides the woman isn't going to be president anyway.

Still, it is a little disconcerting to foreigners who are accustomed to our ways.

Clinton makes threat against Iran as voters go to polls (Guardian UK)

Hillary Clinton, in her most bellicose comments since the presidential race began, today threatened to obliterate Iran if it launched a nuclear strike against Israel.

Speaking as voters went to the polls in the potentially crucial Pennsylvania primary, she said: "I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran (if it attacks Israel)."

Of course, before the bloggers have a field day, it should be noted that she threatened Iran with a nuclear attack IF they attacked Israel with a nuclear attack.

I'm not quite sure how that's a bad thing. I would say the same, and I think most government officials would agree.

So let's just willy nilly turn over the US nuclear deterrent to the Middle East and to Israel.

In a presidential campaign.

In a pig's eye

And if you know any "US officials who'd agree with you" please, names

They need to be fired or behind bars or both

US man charged with disclosing nuclear information to Israel US authorities have arrested an American man on charges that he disclosed classified US defense information, including on nuclear weapons, to Israel, the Justice Department said Tuesday. Ben-Ami Kadish worked as a mechanical engineer at a US Army weapons center in New Jersey when he provided over several years the documents to Israel's consul for science affairs in New York, the department said. ...

Let me count the ways!

We'll really get worried when she goes for pre-emptive nuclear war.
