Links to nowhere...

avatar

Since I can't find anything resembling, "contact us" on TPM, I'll put this in my blog and hope someone with TPM reads it.

While
reading a page of TPM, I noticed the "Hot Topics" section in the upper
right-hand corner of the page. One of the listed topics was David
Vitter, which I clicked on. My browser went through the motions of
loading a new page, but when it was done, I was still on the same page.

I
tried a couple of times, but always got the same result. So I tried the
last listing under Hot Topics, "All Topics." This time, I actually did
go to another page, one that listed all the topics and nothing else.
Again I clicked on "David Vitter," and again, my browser went through
the motions of loading a new page, and again, when the dust cleared, I
was still at the same page. Other "links" produced the same non-result.

That
made me wonder if perhaps there was no page with info about David
Vitter. So to test that idea, I went to TPM's home page and entered
"David Vitter" in the search box. I was immediately sent to a page with
two items about David Vitter.

So my question is, what gives???
Why put "links" on pages that don't link to anything? Whoever does the
technical maintenance would appear to be asleep at the switch.

You got the search feature to work?
Wow, I always get something like "Movable type, your search has generated an error"

1.) the search has always worked for me

2.) there is a send comments and tips - that might work for you
