Laughably Awful New Hillary Ad
What do you look for in a President? Me, I look for someone who is a leader, has a cool head, is articulate, a deep thinker, fearless, progressive, positive. Those are a few reasons why I support Barack Obama.
However, if for any reason you prefer candidates who act like WWE wrestlers, and who say things like "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen," then maybe Hillary is the choice for you.
Seriously though, I have to ask, because I'm seriously confused here: this isn't for real, is it?

My first thought was also that this is a spoof (the title "kitchen" really prejudiced me towards this assumption). However, if it's a spoof, it's one of the most subtle ones I've ever (knowingly) witnessed. I think it's for real.

and obama has already responded, citing one of bill clinton's "laws of politics":
"If one candidate's trying to scare you and the other one's trying to get you to think; if one candidate's appealing to your fears and the other one's appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope."

This is serious. She really does approve of the message it sends.
She's a ex that just doesn't get, that you've found out stuff that causes you not to want to be involved anymore. And if they pressure for the thing that they previously threw away it can cause you to reject them. So, as a basis to keep the friendship, you dodge the emotional tension that a failed relationship may cause and insist that they move on and encourage them to find other ways to be happy... but they keep insisting that they've changed and explain over and over again the reasons for another chance until you finally blurt out..." I CAN'T STAND YOU! OK? OKAAAAAY? IS THAT WHAT YOU NEED TO HEAR?"
did I just write that?

I can't believe how Republican she's become. NOt just the garden variety Republican but practically Dick Cheney/Bush/Rove Republican. It's really quite disturbing.

Oh hey, is that generic fear-mongering deep-voice guy? I didn't expect to hear him until around November.

Laughable, questionable (any able). Ms. Clinton is still trying to prove that to lead America one must be a 'warrior' and not a peacenik. But at this jucnture in our history, a peacenik is exactly what need. Someone who not only understands the virtures of peace, but is able to articulate then in an manner that the average citizen will accept.
"There is a tide in the affairs of men, Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat. And we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures."
