Karma? Democratic woe and the expectations game.
Isn't it amazing that Democrats were gloating that the Republicans would have a problem with establishing a candidate and going to a contested convention?
Now we have the looming spectacle of a meltdown of the Democrats.
Was it Karma?
Or is there a better explanation?

I don't specifically remember any Democrats, "gloating that the Republicans would have a problem with establishing a candidate and going to a contested convention." I could be wrong though. Feel free to leave a link if so.

I guess you didn't read about he Nevada Republican Convention that had to be shut down because of ensuing riots from the Ron Paul supporters.
Guess you didn't read about the RNSC, not only being broke, but being charged with felonious charges from the FEC.
Guess you didn't hear the one about McCain is again having to answer to the public financing debacle.
Guess you didn't read about...never mind. I'm tired.
