I think I need to avoid MSM the rest of the day -- hearing the likes of Pat Buchanan say "it wasn't enough, it wasn't soon enough, it wasn't blah-blah-blah....."
I'm expecting a war from Wright. Obama needs to do what Hillary did with the Genifer Flowers thing -- we've talked about it enough.
And when they bring up Obama's character in not knowing what Wright was, the public needs to remember that Hillary Clinton believed her husband when he said he hadn't cheated on her with Monica. Or any of the others.......
Talk about judgment.......

Try avoiding the MSM for several days -- I have, and am still doing it, and I feel remarkably good! I don't miss it, and I can get all the info I want or need from the innernets tubes.

Thanks for providing an oasis in the current desert of grim press/postings/analyses. Too many predictions of the sky falling and all being lost!
BTW, I happened to be in the right place to see Dick Cheney's motorcade speed by yesterday (he was in town for a fundraiser at an undisclosed location). Entire eastbound Interstate was closed (and all overpasses), there were enough state police motorcycles and cruisers visible to take on an invading army, then of course the line of limos (which one was he in?) and multiple Secret Service SUVs, followed by a speeding ambulance with all lights a'flashing - probably stuffed full of cardiologists - then more and more cops. It was all quite disturbing somehow, the monumental show of force made to ensure that the VP might pass safely among us common folks : : :

Yes I'm me. when I found this Opus cartoon and switched my avatar, I changed my screen name to reflect an Opus persona. For some reason, when I post it's my astral66 name, and when I comment it's my Opus screen name.

Also, I heard Fred Rogers speak at a college graduation some 20 years ago, and he led an a capella version of that song for a stadium full of people. It was one of the most memorable commencements ever.
